Hillsong's gospel of greed and avarice.

Hillsong’s gospel of greed and avarice.

I’ve been contacted by a high up Hillsong insider who believes that Hillsong has gone off the rails and wants to tell their story.

This article is the fifth in a series of articles publishing the eye-witness testimonies of this Hillsong insider.

Hillsong insider speaks:

“Dear Donald

Pastor Steve McGhie and his wife Judith (Brian Houston’s sister) are the most corrupt people in the Hillsong church.

Steve McGhie has a hatred towards Aboriginals. He treats them badly and has rough-handled them at times, when they’ve misbehaved inside Hillsong premises at Waterloo. (Hillsong City Campus).

Pastor Steve McGhie

Pastor Steve McGhie. Great White Hunter. Steve proudly framed by the antlers of a deer he slew in New Zealand. Hates Aboriginals.

Pastor Joel A’Bell, formerly a Hillsong Youth Pastor, and now head of Hillsong Australia, is a snake. He’ll be nice to you and stab you in the back. Pastor Joel A’Bell has a love of power.

Joel A'Bell

Pastor Joel A’Bell. Head of Hillsong Australia. Back-stabber.

It’s all ‘jobs for the boys’ at Hillsong. A “if you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” culture, where morality and ethics take a second place.

Mateship and nepotism are the currency of the Hillsong culture. This culture revolves around money and finance. Pastor Joel Houston, Pastor Bobbie and Brian Houston’s eldest son, before he became prominent in the Hillsong Youth Band, and later become co-pastor at Hillsong New York City, had a printing business. He was given all of Hillsong’s printing business which is massive. This is blatant shameless nepotism.

Joel Houston. Mummy and daddy look after me financially.

Joel Houston. “Mummy and daddy look after me financially”. It’s the Houston and Hillsong way.

There was a big fallout between Darlene Zschech and Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston before Darlene and her husband Mark left Hillsong to form their own church on the Central Coast, an hour north of Sydney. Darlene didn’t want the high rock and roll Hillsong was getting into under its Hillsong Alive band run by Pastor Joel Houston. Darlene wanted worship to be more worshipful and she wanted to be there for the people. Pastor Brian Houston is led by money not love for people. Pastor Brian Houston, his wife Bobbie and his son Joel wanted the high rock and roll. Now Hillsong has to beg and scrap to Darlene if they want her to sing, because they want to trade on her name still in their promotions by having her sing occasionally for them.

In respect to Bobbie Houston, Pastor Brian Houston’s wife, I don’t know how Brian puts up with her. She’s just a nag. Bobbie is a princess who can do whatever she wants. In fact at one Colour Conference she said, “This is my conference and I’ll do whatever I like”. Who pays for Bobbie’s cosmetic surgery? Hillsong does.

Hillsong is just corporate now. It’s about business, business, business. It’s a job for the full-time staff rather than a Christian ministry of heart-felt service, like the Lord Jesus Christ wanted the Church of Jesus to be.

Joel Houston is a bit of a fool. Joel’s best mate made out he had terminal cancer and achieved fame throughout Australia for it. His name is Michael Guglielmucci. Then he was found out to have lied about it.

Joel is out for fame. I knew Brian’s kids in the pram. All the Houston kids are power-mad. All their spouses married into money.

Joel Houston has an immense sense of entitlement. Joel’s attitude is “I’m in Hillsong. I’m Brian Houston’s son”.

Pastor Joel Houston. Great sense of entitlement. Joel Houston:

Pastor Joel Houston. Immense sense of entitlement. “I’m Joel Houston, I’m Brian Houston’s son”

All the young Hillsong City church pastors have homes and apartments in the beach-side Eastern Suburbs of Sydney bought with Hillsong church financial assistance. If they need money to buy an apartment, cash gets put into their account to help them get the loan, and then it is moved out once the loan is approved. All the young pastors at the Hillsong City Church get helped in ways like this. It’s “jobs for the boys”. Hillsong Bible College teaching is all about the Hillsong business and about milking the system.

Brian Houston has a very bad temper. His overall attitude is “I’m the great Brian Houston”. Bobbie and Brian Houston live a life of luxury and excess.

Pastor Brian Houston. Bad temper. Sometimes violent.

The writer Donald Elley of Bellingen (and Bondi).

I’m not surprised by these comments by this Hillsong insider. I’ve sensed these things and heard about Hillsong greed, avarice, corruption and nepotism for over three decades, since Pastor Brian Houston launched out in Sydney’s Western Suburbs under the banner of Christian Life Centre Baulkham Hills. It was later renamed Hillsong. It’s gotten worse and worse over the past three decades.

In the early days in the early 1980s, Brian Houston, who I knew personally and built his first office out west, wasn’t harmless but he wasn’t evil like he is today. He was always pushy, arrogant and a bit of a block-head. But more of a bone-headed wombat than any serious threat. Now he’s an out-of-control monster from Hades the devil has unleashed on the earth to deceive and torment Christendom. The Pope is less harmful. Not really they’re both the same. Deceived. From the House of Babylon. Religious frauds. No Protestant should believe a word Pope Francis or Pope Brian Houston say. They’re as dumb as each other.

Finally the great man, Pope Pete of Baulkham Hills. Welcome again to my blog site

Pope Brian Houston of Hillsong. A fraud. Don’t believe him. Don’t listen to him. Don’t buy his books. Don’t buy Hillsong CDs, DVDs or anything else. Don’t waste your precious hard-earned cash. Whatever you do don’t tithe to Hillsong. Don’t help the Great Babylon. Let it rot.

Brian is now a bully. A wilful, stubborn, arrogant, pushy, bad-tempered, conceited, incredibly greedy, heartless and unkind man.

Brian slammed the phone down on his father Frank Houston’s boy victim AHA, who is now in his 50s, when he lost his rag with him.

Brian Houston. Phone slammer. Outbursts of anger. Bully. Stubborn. Rude. A lot of dysfunction behind the spin and smiles.

Brian Houston. Phone slammer. Outbursts of anger. Bully. Stubborn. Rude. A lot of dysfunction behind the spin and smiles.

There are zero fruits of the Holy Spirit in this man, Brian Houston’s, life. He is one of the greatest con-artists and charlatans, like his father the corrupt life-long pedophile Pastor Frank Houston, to ever have walked on God’s earth.

I’m sure these kinds of thoughts, comments and observations of this Hillsong insider are shared by many astute people, who are either still in Hillsong, and are feeling kinda disillusioned, or have left Hillsong and are feeling traumatised by their experiences there, feel it was like being in a cult, but are glad their out, or they have relatives or friends who go to Hillsong and feel that something is very wrong.

If you’d like to offer some comments about your experiences with Hillsong, please feel free to comment in the comment’s box at the bottom of any article on this site. It would be more helpful to readers of this site to comment on this series of articles about the Hillsong inner culture. If you have a longer story to tell, I’m happy to publish any bona fide stories of Hillsong scandals, corruption, or of the dysfunctional Hillsong culture and activities.

This site, my personal blog-site, is the most influential and widely read blog-site about the Houstons and Hillsong. There are people from all over the world reading it. Please feel free to contribute.

Darlene Zschech, famous Hillsong singer and worship leader. Now has her own church on the Central Coast north of Sydney. Darlene’s attitude: “I’ve just come back from a personal audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican. I can say with the greatest authority on earth that all of mankind is currently being united in Jesus and all faiths, sexual persuasions and races on this wonderful earth will one day be united together in a huge rainbow of God’s love”.

With Darlene Zschech I think a reason she went and paid homage and sang for the Pope is her great ego.

In Darlene’s mind to sing for the Pope is the ultimate and she may have hoped she would become famous. Like Madonna, who was raised a Catholic and is now bisexual, who would like an audience with Pope Francis.

Madonna: “I’d like to meet the Pope over a glass of wine”

Journalist Luca Dondoni interviews the American pop star in New York, for Italian radio station RTL 102.5. She talks about Pope Francis and her relationship with religion.

“God bless Pope Francis. We’ve got to meet. A plate of pasta, a bottle of good wine. Do I have a chance?” This is what world-famous American pop star Madonna had to say in her interview with journalist Luca Dondoni for Italian radio station RTL 102.5, just as her new album is released.

Answering a question about the relationship the singer has with religion (some of the songs in her new album have strong religious connotations), Madonna said: “They are a bit to do with my relationship with God and/or sexuality or playing with the idea of God and religion or sexuality; these are all themes that are present in my songs – as you know. It’s also the reason I have been excommunicated by the Catholic Church not once, not twice but three times… I don’t know…do you think the Pope would invite me?”

“Madonna asked Luca Dondoni what the Pope thought about the gay community, to which he answered: “He says: ‘Who am I to judge?’” The singer then replied: “God bless him. We’ve got to meet. A plate of pasta, a bottle of good wine. Do I have a chance?”

When the interviewer remarked: “I think that if you and this Pope meet, he’ll give you a hug,” the queen of pop replied: “fantastic, introduce me to him”.

My comments:

It’s like singing for the Queen or The US President. Narcissists like Darlene Zschech get off on the laud and praises of men.

Brian Houston is the same. He pretends he hates the media coverage of his dad’s pedophilia but inside he loves the attention. Then he goes back to Hillsong and says what a wonderful witness his time at the Royal Commission was for his jesus. Its like the tale of the Emperor who had no clothes on. No one at Hillsong dares to tell Brian he’s made a complete goose of himself and Sydney is laughing at him at the Royal Commission. Brian has many enemies out there but he can’t see them.

Darlene was indignant and overwhelmed by the negative reaction to her paying homage to the Pope. In her mind it was her greatest day on earth but she didn’t see the fall-out coming.

Darlene meets the Pope

Darlene Zschech of Hillsong Church. A Pope lover.

Recently Darlene Zschech, by her own unashamed declaration on her blog-site, visited the Pope in Rome to bow down to him and pay homage.

Then worse, instead of realising she’s made a goose of herself, Darlene attacks other well-meaning, sincere and learned Christians, who clearly know buckets-full more than her about Church History, about the Atrocities of the Church of Rome against Protestants and who have carefully read the New Testament. love it and follow it’s Words very closely.

It seems that the only parts of the New Testament Darlene has read are the bits her Father in the Holy Hillsong false church faith has shown her, and whatever Brian says should be taken with a grain of salt. Brian learnt his trade off his father Frank Houston, who is now deceased, but was for his whole life a secret pedophile and abuser of little boys and a homosexual of note. A vampire of the night who destroyed myriad little boys and young mens’ lives. This is Brian Houston’s, the CEO of Hillsong’s Ancient Spiritual Father, and Brian is Darlene Zschech’s current teacher and mentor, so we can see why Darlene has now gone completely off the rails. What hope did she have following Frank and Brian Houston?

Darlene Zschech of Hillsong Church, by visiting the Pope and paying homage to him, is trampling on the blood of the martyrs of the Protestant Church and the martyrs of the Christian faith since it’s inception thousands of years ago.

We read in Hebrews chapter 11, in the New Testament of the Holy Bible, about the heroes of our Christian faith. Men who stood for the truth of God’s Word without compromise or favour. This is Christianity at it’s most pure. The pure milk of the Word of Almighty God. The Blessed Mana uncorrupted.

Here are some definitions of Protestantism, all of which are accurate:

‘The Protestant Reformation was the 16th-century religious, political, intellectual and cultural upheaval that splintered Catholic Europe, setting in place the structures and beliefs that would define the continent in the modern era’.

Wikipedia:

‘Protestantism

Protestantism is a form of Christian faith and practice which originated with the Protestant Reformation, a movement against what its followers considered to be errors in the Roman Catholic Church. It is one of the three major divisions of Christendom, together with Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. Anglicanism is sometimes considered to be independent from Protestantism. The term refers to the letter of protestation from Lutheran princes in 1529 against an edict condemning the teachings of Martin Luther as heretical.

With its origins in Germany, the modern movement is popularly considered to have begun in 1517 when Luther published The Ninety-Five Theses as a reaction against abuses in the sale of indulgences, which purported to offer remission of sin to their purchasers. Although there were earlier breaks from or attempts to reform the Roman Catholic Church—notably by Peter Waldo, Arnold of Brescia, Girolamo Savonarola, John Wycliffe, and Jan Hus—only Luther succeeded in sparking a wider, lasting movement.

All the many Protestant denominations reject the notion of papal supremacy over the Church universal and generally deny the Roman Catholic doctrine of transubstantiation, but they disagree among themselves regarding Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. The various denominations generally emphasize the priesthood of all believers, the doctrine of justification by faith alone (sola fide) rather than by or with good works, and a belief in the Bible alone (rather than with Catholic tradition) as the sole authority in matters of faith and morals (sola scriptura). The “Five solae” summarize the reformers’ basic differences in theological beliefs in opposition to the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church of the day.

Protestantism diffused on the European continent during the 16th century. Lutheranism spread from Germany into its surrounding areas, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Prussia, Latvia, and Estonia, as well as other smaller territories. Reformed churches were founded primarily in Germany and its adjacent regions, Hungary, the Netherlands, Scotland, Switzerland, and France by such reformers as John Calvin, Huldrych Zwingli, and John Knox. Armenianism gained supporters in the Netherlands and parts of Germany. In 1534, King Henry VIII put an end to all papal jurisdiction in England after the Pope failed to annul his marriage to Catherine of Aragon; this opened the door to reformational ideas, notably during the following reign of Edward VI, through Thomas Cranmer, Richard Hooker, and other theologians. There were also reformational efforts throughout continental Europe known as the Radical Reformation—a response to perceived corruption in both the Roman Catholic Church and the expanding Magisterial Reformation led by Luther and various other reformers—which gave rise to Anabaptist, Moravian, and other Pietistic movements. In later centuries, Protestants developed their own culture, which made major contributions in education, the humanities and sciences, the political and social order, the economy and the arts, and other fields.

Collectively encompassing more than 950 million adherents, or nearly forty percent of Christians worldwide, Protestantism is present on all populated continents. The movement is more divided theologically and ecclesiastically than either Eastern Orthodoxy or Roman Catholicism, lacking both structural unity and central human authority. Some Protestant churches do have a worldwide scope and distribution of membership (notably, the Anglican Communion), while others are confined to a single country, or even are solitary church bodies or congregations (such as the former Prussian Union of churches). Nondenominational, evangelical, independent and other churches are on the rise, and constitute a significant part of Protestant Christianity.

An exact number of Protestant denominations is difficult to calculate and depends on definition. Nevertheless, most Protestants are members of just a handful of denominational families: Adventism, Anglicanism, Baptist churches, Reformed churches, Lutheranism, Methodism, and Pentecostalism’.

My comments:

Donald Elley of Bellingen.

The write, Donald Elley of Bellingen, Australia.

Darlene Zschech unashamedly wrote on her blog-site that she visited the Pope, paid homage to him and worshipped with Roman Catholics. I just heard the Protestant Fathers of the Reformation, Martin Luther, John Knox and John Calvin, all turn in their graves. I also just heard the Apostle Paul groan in Heaven. How could a Protestant Christian be so naive as to think how Darlene thinks, and to do what Darlene did, by bowing down and paying homage to the Pope, the enemy of Protestantism and the enemy of The True Church Universal?

This, my friends, is not just any organisation we’re dealing with here. We’re dealing with Hillsong, which is about as light-weight doctrinally and intellectually as candy-floss on a summer’s day on a carousel at the fair.

Pastor Brian Houston, Darlene Zschech’s spiritual father, or ‘papa Houston’ as the Hillsongees coin him, is a theological super-lightweight. Brian Houston has no tertiary education, no theological training and no understanding of church history. Brian spent time at his father Frank Houston’s Bible College at Lower Hutt Assemblies of God in the early 1970s. During this time Frank Houston was molesting little boys and revelling in the hugging and pressing of the Charismatic Movement, which gave him countless opportunities for masked homosexual contacts with young men.

This is the spiritual environment Brian Houston was raised in.

Brian and his brother Graeme were probably sexually molested by their old pedo dad Frank. Graeme refuses to attend church to this day. Graeme has stories to tell about Frank, but won’t do it through some kind of misguided child-like feeling to protect his dad. Brian is paralysed into inaction by this same feeling.

If my father was Frank Houston, I’d tell it all. But I’m Donald Elley of Bellingen, Australia, formerly of Khandallah, Wellington, New Zealand, and not a Houston who has great wealth to protect gained by fleecing the House of God and the precious saints of God.

So Darlene Zschech is the spiritual child of these men, as is Pat Mesiti, Pastors Joel Houston, Brian’s eldest child, and Carl Lentz of Hillsong NYC, who are currently trying to work out if they should allow open gays to stay in their church leadership, and others like Pastor Paul de Jong of Life Church, Auckland, New Zealand. These men and women are the spiritual children of Pastor Frank Houston, the lifelong pedophile, the founder of the Hillsong organisation, and Pastor Brian Houston, the current very corrupt CEO of Hillsong.

What hope did Darlene have?

Darlene Zschech, by going to pay homage to Pope Francis at St Peter’s Square and Cathedral, the Vatican, Rome, was treading on the blood of hundreds of thousands of Christian martyrs which the Roman Catholic Church has butchered throughout history.

Darlene wrote on her blog-site:

“…There is much I could say in this blog. I will say that it is sad when Christians beat up other Christians with words, and somehow think that it ok to do so. I will say that it is sad when we retreat to immature responses rather than being people of diligent prayer for ALL sectors of the church. The truth is that there are parts of every denomination that struggle with historical injustices, and I cannot even fathom some of the abuses and subsequent heartbreak endured due as a result of these actions…”

My comments:

Darlene’s comment, “The truth is that there are parts of every denomination that struggle with historical injustices, and I cannot even fathom some of the abuses and subsequent heartbreak endured due as a result of these actions…”, is extremely naive and illustrates Darlene’s complete lack of knowledge and understanding of Church History and the Holy Bible.

Darlene should read Foxes Book of Martyrs, study Protestantism and the persecutions of Protestants by the Church of Rome for 1700 years. The Church of Rome carried on from the Roman Empire in the persecution of Bible believing Christians.

The reason the Church of Rome and the Roman Empire have together persecuted true believers from the time of Christ until modern times, when Protestantism gained ascendancy, is that both the Church of Rome and the Roman Empire are anti-Christ organisations and part of the Great Whore of Babylon who sits on the seven hills (of Rome) written about by the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
