The Holy Spirit loves you deeply.

The Holy Spirit, the Gentle Dove of Heaven, loves you deeply.

Conventionally speaking and out of the greatest respect for God, if we write an adjective before or after one of God’s Names, after I did then, we should use a capital letter on the first letter of that adjective.

A small point. The benefits and wisdom with Christianity and life are in grasping and applying the detail well.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

In context:

Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. 16 But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness…

2 Timothy 2:15

My skills with words, writing and in knowing and understanding the Holy Bible and the ways of God weren’t established in five minutes.

It has taken a lifetime of tuition and diligence.

These are the types of men and woman we so need God to raise up in this generation, even if all my generation are sweep into the gutter.

When I think of the errant men of God who I have been writing about on this my personal blog-site since September 2012 I weep.

Literally weep.

Not feel like weeping. I weep.

My heart is in the greatest pain when I think about the carnage these errant men have caused.

I also get very angry about these men.

Pastor Frank Houston. Founder of Hillsong. Extremely evil and corrupt life-long pedophile.

I started writing about Frank Houston on 13 September 2012 with my article on this site, ‘Pastor Frank Houston. part 1. Frank’s Houston’s pedophile activities’.

This article has been viewed by 16,000 people.

If you google ‘Frank Houston abuse’, it is the first article that will appear.

My article comes up ahead of Wikipedia, the Daily Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, ABC, London Daily Mail and other media.

It has been the first article if you google ‘Frank Houston abuse’ for over two years.

I started writing about Frank Houston, his pedophile activities and his many other faults, in September 2012 before the then Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard called the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

My articles were influential in the Royal Commission examining the Houstons, the ACC/ AOG and Hillsong church.

In fact Simeon Beckett, a leading Commission lawyer, quoted directly from the above article on Frank Houston when he outlined the history of the Assemblies of God and other introductory facts.

The Royal Commission has contacted me three times for information.

I introduced the Royal Commission to victim SA1 (my code name) and organised for him to give them a statement.

At that time in October last year, to my knowledge, no victims of Frank Houston were known to the Royal Commission in Australia apart from victim AHA from Coogee Beach, Sydney.

I also told them about victim WNZ1 from Wellington, New Zealand, who few people know. Only some immediate family, one pastor in New Zealand and me.

WNZ1 contacted me after reading my blog-site. The Australian Royal Commission have noted his existence.  They don’t need a statement off him because their brief is only to examine Australian cases of sexual abuse of minors (under 18’s).

The Royal Commission has uncovered 160,000 victims of Institutional Abuse of minors.

Staggering when you think that’s only the Institutional abuse. The problem of pedophilia is of epidemic proportions in Australia.

Neville Johnson. Liked oral sex with church secretaries.

This man has never repented of crimes against God and man in the 1970s, including having oral sex multiple times with a series of three young church secretaries, including his right hand man’s daughter, spiritual and moral deception and trashing and dumping Queen Street AOG Auckland and running away to Perth.

Queen Street AOG was the largest church in Australia or New Zealand at the time.

The  greatest of sins.

Frank Houston was far worse but Neville Johnson is up there in the bad pastor dudes stakes.

Neville Johnson is still ministering from an internet site “Academy of Light’ in Perth, Western Australia, and in a teaching ministry.

Avoid Neville Johnson like the plague.

This man is still ministering and should not be.

Jim Williams is another errant New Zealand pastor who should just go fishing or do gardening for old ladies and leave the Blessed Body of Christ, God’s Precious Jewel from Heaven, alone.

Jim Williams followed Frank Houston as the Head of the New Zealand Assemblies of God Church (AOG).

He was the 9th General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God in New Zealand was from October 1977 – 1985, an eight year term.

Sydney James “Jim” Williams was born on 11 September 1935.

Jim Williams is a former pastor and former leader of one of the most influential churches in the Assemblies of God in New Zealand in Hamilton.

He is currently pastoring in Queensland, Australia.

Jim Williams became a published author with a work based on the book of Proverbs called “Wisdom – the missing link”, a book on handling pastoral problems.

One of the most difficult things he had to manage as General Superintendent was the fallout following the revelation of the financial and moral failure of Neville Johnson then pastor of the largest church in Australasia, the Queen Street Assembly of God.

Departure from New Zealand

Williams left for Australia in March 1989, the leadership of the AOG then passing to Pastor Wayne Hughes. In Australia Williams served in what was then known as the Garden City Church in Brisbane.

In 1994 the Executive of the NZ AOG received a letter from the Australian Assemblies stating that Williams had been guilty of adultery while pastor at the Hamilton AOG Assembly.

Williams was replaced as Pastor of the Garden City Christian Church by his deputy Senior Pastor, Pastor Geoff Holdway. Pastor Holdway differed from Williams charismatic style by focusing on a more fundamental adherence and teaching of scripture. This was based on his background in the Baptist theological seminary with a much more Pentecostal emphasis on scriptural interpretation.

At this time Williams was pastoring in Australia.

He lost his Australian credentials, but these were eventually returned after a time of counseling.

However he remained barred from ministry in the NZ AOG due to a failure to make any efforts to put the matter right in New Zealand.

In 2000 it became apparent that the extent of his sexual impropriety was much greater than admitted to the Australian body.

His credentials in New Zealand were permanently revoked for adulterous offences and other indiscretions involving different women over an extended period of years.

Following this the Hamilton Assembly (Gateway Christian Centre) left the denomination.

Current Ministry

Jim Williams is no longer associated with the Assemblies of God in Australia, and is now pastoring a church The House of Praise in Springwood, Queensland.

Here is an article published in the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) on 4 August 2007.

The writer David Marr is a gay man who writes for the SMH and who is interested in subjects like religion and organisations like Hillsong.

The first part of the article is about Tanya Levin’s book. Tanya is an ex-Hillsong lady who is now an atheist and a Hillsong watch type person.

Information about Peter Laughton, Frank Houston’s former young worship leader is in the second part of the article.

Peter Laughton was staying as a boarder with Frank Houston and his wife Hazel when the abuse occurred.

Although Peter was in his 20s he feels Frank Houston, who was 60, took advantage of him and abused him.

Tanya Levins

Tanya Levins

August 4, 2007

When a former member of the Hillsong congregation started asking hard questions, she was thrown out,

By the miracle of YouTube, we can take a helicopter ride over Sydney any time we like with Pastor Brian Houston as he lays out Hillsong’s Vision 2007. In a voice that has coaxed fortunes from the faithful, he talks prosperity, vision, growth and God’s strategy as the helicopter swoops down on the “beautiful piece of property” Hillsong bought last year in inner-city Rosebery for $28 million.

“I think the finances are where we’re going to have to have the greatest faith.”

His confidence is absolute that the mortgage will soon be paid. To a sceptical outsider, Houston looks oddly like Spike Milligan with cans on his ears and a microphone to his mouth as he looks down on the suburbs where Hillsong’s “state-of-the-art worship centres” are booming already or will soon be delivering the goods for Christ. He shrugs off ridicule. The nation’s most triumphant preacher lives in a world without doubt and without dissent.

“Jesus said a house divided against itself cannot stand,” Houston reminds the thousands who have viewed this film clip and left adoring messages behind. (“Please come to Sweden! We need ‘fire’ here!!!!!!!!!”) Authority is a big deal at Hillsong. You don’t mess with Brian or his wife, Bobbie. “The great strength of our church has always been our unity. A single vision is critical to where we’re going.”

So Tanya Levin is a problem. She asks questions. She wants explanations. She challenges the vision of Hillsong’s leadership. In short, she’s trouble.

Two years into writing People in Glass Houses, her insider’s account of Hillsong, she was finally – and literally – shown the door. “There is no debate within Hillsong,” she says. “That’s fundamentalism. It’s not open to free thought and question, not at all.”

The church wasn’t answering her emails about the book. Houston had ignored her calls. She defied orders not to turn up at the Castle Hill “campus”, until the night came when two security guards carried her from the church and “a very tall, handsome Maori man of about 24” called Dion walked her to her car.

“I cried at Dion,” she writes. “I told him about my dad, and faithfulness and loyalty … whatever kind of Hollywood angel he was dressed as that night, there would come a time when he would outlive the usefulness to the Firm. And then he would lose that simple genuine look he stared at me with. I told him to go home and read his Bible and go ask the preachers why it doesn’t match what they say. He listened like one does to the ravings of a lunatic and I made him listen because that’s his job.”

It was the end of a long affair that began when Levin was 14, the daughter of a banker and his Jewish wife who were brought to God by Billy Graham back in South Africa. The family turned up in the early days of what was to become the behemoth of Hillsong.

“My impressions in September of 1985 were of a bunch of nice people,” Levin writes. They waved their hands and spoke in tongues. Houston preached. “Even today,” she confesses, “when I hear Brian Houston’s voice I feel better.”

People in Glass Houses is a naked account of the joys of religious infatuation and the messy business of re-entering the real world as an adult five years down the track.

Levin fitted the Hillsong pattern perfectly: “There is a 50 per cent turnover every five years. Hillsong is renowned for having a very big back door.” The churning of people through the church is not something they talk about. “Or they say people don’t have the faith to hang on; they’re unable to take it through the tough times. It’s always the fault of the person. It’s never the fault of Hillsong.”

But the ties were deep. University and then a child took her away from the Hills for a decade. She returned as a single mother with a job as a social worker in a Salvation Army women’s refuge and something more than curiosity about the fate of her old church and the friends she still had there. “I’d go sporadically just to have a look.”

Rumours of scandal sharpened her interest. After one hugely popular pastor was expelled in 2001, Levin began asking questions about Brian Houston’s father, Frank – a preacher so powerful he was thought to be able to raise the dead – who was being accused on the internet of pedophilia. But Hillsong was in the dark.

Brian and Bobbie won a standing ovation from the congregation when they finally broke the news that old Frank had an unwavering love of God and deeply repented his moral failings. His crimes were not named that day. Levin was furious: “I had a near-irresistible urge to yell out like the boys used to do in the old days, ‘What did he DO, Brian?’ ”

Levin was asking questions again, this time to write this book. Frank was not her target. She set herself the task of explaining the inner workings of the most successful religious operation in Australia: the joy and despair of faith; the mass hypnosis of worship; the Jesus-centric remedies offered in Hillsong’s outreach programs for drug addiction, domestic violence, unemployment and homosexuality; the ideological submission of women; and the bleeding of money from the faithful.

Levin’s family is among the financial casualties of Hillsong. They’re out of the church now after more than 20 years and her mother’s sardonic joke is that People in Glass Houses might earn a little of their money back. Hillsong’s 19,000 members are expected to tithe – give a 10th of their income to the church – and make big donations on top of that. Levin wrote the book as a warning: “The intention was to tell people, ‘Hey, by the way, they’re taking your money.’ ”

A couple of years ago, Brian Houston boasted on ABC television that Hillsong’s income for the financial year 2004-2005 was $50 million. It’s tax-free, of course. Accounts are never published. Year after year, Hillsong’s music arm has albums high in the charts. When All of the Above faded after many months this year, Saviour King took its place. The earnings are enormous but the begging bowl is always out.

“It’s a corporate organisation being run by corporately trained people to achieve economic outcomes,” Levin says. “Economic outcomes are the new measure of spiritual success and sign of blessing. The fact that Brian Houston is driving a Harley is a sign that God is looking upon him favourably.”

For Levin, the core lie of Hillsong is the claim that God will repay everything you give. And the longer you have to wait, the greater the return. “How do you actually stand in front of people and say if you give me your money God will give it back to you – and actually sleep at night when you’re taking old people’s money? It’s obviously the more desperate people who want to make an investment decision like that. Very vulnerable people.”

Four or five years ago Levin typed “ex born again Christian” into Google and found that “from Sweden to Nevada and back again there were people with the same story”. They are welcomed into a small, warm, friendly congregation with one or two charismatic preachers. But a few years later they’re out the door: “Kicked out and told they are the work of the devil.”

That early friendliness is part of the big sell. “They don’t preach against much. There’s a new movement that’s come through America called Seeker Sensitive – in other words we want people who come into our church to feel comfortable. And we want to be sensitive to their needs. So we won’t say anything too outrageous and we’ll tone the whole thing down.”

But tough rules – often about sex – are waiting to be enforced. “Painted into a corner, they’re explicitly homophobic, but up to that point they don’t want to be seen as an unfriendly, judgmental place. They want to be seen as warm, inclusive, loving, embracing. But they’re not. They are of their own kind: if you’re in the system and you behave accordingly, the system will reward you.”

Levin thought that with so many casualties of the system around, writing the book would be easy. “What I found – and what other media have found – is that it’s almost impossible to get other people to come forward and talk about this. People will write things on websites, they will send emails: ‘I’ve been through this, I’ve done this, I can help you, I know these things, I am the voice of expertise.’ Then they disappear again because it’s too painful and it’s too confrontational.”

Hillsong won’t comment on the result.

“We have no control over what people decide to say and write,” Brian Houston says. “We keep our focus on helping people with hope in Jesus Christ.”

But Levin has a fair idea what they’re thinking out in the Hills. “Bobbie Houston announced at the Colour Your World conference in 2005 that there the only three types of media about Hillsong. They are the positive, the neutral and the anti-Christ.”

Levin doesn’t fit that picture. She doesn’t hate. Something in her seems to yearn for those exhilarating years fighting the good fight against the devil in all his disguises right down to the voodoo beat of rock’n’roll. “We were told you can’t have it because it’s incantation and you’re going to raise all these demons.” How different things are now. Levin begins to sing some Hillsong Christian trance music: “Doof, doof, doof. Christ is the future. Doof doof doof …”

Is she entirely free of the place? If Houston rang today and asked her to dinner, would she go?

“Yes, very much so. My main aim is to keep the dialogue open. To encourage questions. To encourage debate. And when somebody or a group of people make you feel like family for a number of years, it’s difficult to shake that feeling even when reality tells you something different, and when relationships break down. Go do dinner with Brian?” She laughs. “It would be nice.”

A fallen leader of faith

FRANK HOUSTON was a charismatic preacher and a sick man. He won famous souls for Hillsong – jockey Darren Beadman was one of his scalps – and sexually abused young men.

He was about 60 when he undertook to cure 23-year-old Peter Laughton’s homosexuality. “My counselling sessions by the senior minister were nothing more than sexual abuse disguised in the form of the need of a father’s love and discipline,” Laughton says. “Through my naivety, I endured the naked beatings, the eternal bum caresses and masturbating into bottles, among other things.”

Laughton was training to be a pastor. He says the abuse continued for about four years until 1984. “I look at it now and think, ‘God, I was really naive to fall for that.’ ” And believing himself cured, he married.

Laughton’s faith went first. He tells the Herald that before leaving the church in the early 1990s he gave an account to another pastor of the abusive therapy he’d received. But as far as Laughton is aware, no action was taken against the old man until he was forced into retirement by his son Brian after an allegation of pedophilia emerged in about 2000.

Houston denies categorically knowing of any claims of sexual abuse by his father before this time. He initiated a church investigation, which saw the old preacher’s credentials permanently removed. “I was completely devastated by the realisation that my father had hurt people in this way, and I believed it related to events more than 30 years before when he was a New Zealand credentialled pastor. Until recently I knew nothing of Peter’s claims.”

Laughton took a long time to come to grips with his sexuality. He’s now a university lecturer in his early 50s who finds it in himself to forgive Frank Houston. “Despite all his downfallings I think he was genuinely a good person. It is an important part but it still is only one aspect of a person’s life. I’ve come through the other side and appreciated how this man was trapped like many of us were in a system and in a place where you couldn’t really even talk about what you were struggling with.”

Burying his father in 2004, Houston declared him a man who made mistakes but a preacher “in a class of his own”.

My comments:

From 1981 to 1990 I was involved at Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst, which is now called Hillsong Church.

Frank Houston was the head pastor and the founder of Hillsong Church in 1977.

He came over from New Zealand, in the guise of church planting, but he was really a crafty old pedophile who felt the noose tightening on his pedophilia activities which he’d been doing for decades in New Zealand, while at the same time being a very prominent AOG pastor.

Frank Houston is a devil, a son of lucifer of old, who preyed on and molested little boys, teens and older men all his life.

On this site you’ll find over 100 articles on Frank Houston, his pedophilia, his very corrupt son Brian Houston, Hillsong Church, the Australian Christian Churches which was until 2009 called the Australian Assemblies of God (AOG), the New Zealand Assemblies of God and errant Pentecostal pastors in Australia and New Zealand.

For a summary of Frank Houston’s pedophile history please read my article on this site, ‘Pastor Frank Houston, Part one. Frank Houston’s pedophile activities’, published on 9 September 2012.

Peter Laughton was the young Worship Pastor at Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst in the early 1980s.

There is no way possible anyone at Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst could have known what Frank Houston and Peter Laughton were up to. I’d heard allegations of Frank Houston’s pedophilia back in New Zealand and I always had a half-eye on him in this respect but you’d never have picked it

Trevor King was the Music Director.

In 1981 Brian Houston wasn’t a pastor. He was extremely ambitious and very pushy. He wanted to go places and make it big. Its a pity he didn’t get born again properly, receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, deal with his lust for money and power, get deliverance and get a godly foundation in his life of truth, honesty and good morals before he set out to conquer the world for his Jesus.

Brian Houston’s Jesus is no closer to the Lord Jesus Christ of the New Testament than some statue of the black Jesus in Southern Italy with its holy red heart open to mankind.

Hillsong Insider speaks:

“Dear Donald

Just for Christmas and straight from my diary to you here’s a good story.

25 December 2006. Christmas Day

A mother and her children were outside Hillsong City Church asking for food and money to help out on Christmas Day.

They came into church and after attending the service the mother looked a little bit drunk.

She was with her two children.

She was asking for food and some stuff to help her out on Christmas Day as she looked quite poor.

Pastor Jason Wessels and Pastor Steve McGhie, on a hot sunny day Christmas Day, asked her and her children to leave. They had done nothing wrong except for asking for food and and some gifts for the kids to help around on Christmas Day as she was quite poor and obviously had had a drink.

But it is Christmas Day.

Pastor Jason Wessels and Pastor Steve McGhie asked her promptly to leave. They said, “We have nothing for you or your type”…”We aren’t set up to help you”. So they sent her and her children off and had her leave.

There is a lack of care, love and relief at Hillsong Church on Christmas Day.

Where is the love?

Now once again Pastor Steve McGhie and the so-called pastoral care of Hillsong Church has showed a total lack of love and compassion to a poor needy mother and her children on Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas mate I hope you enjoy this one.

I never can never forget this one in 2006″.

I’ve been contacted by a high up Hillsong insider who believes that Hillsong has gone off the rails and wants to tell his story.

This article is the third in a series of articles publishing the eye-witness testimonies of this Hillsong insider.

Hillsong Insider speaks:

“Dear Donald

In 2005 Hillsong City pastors, Pastor Steve McGhie and Pastor Darren, manhandled and abused a young lady at Hillsong City Church, who was gay. She was told, “your type is not needed here at Hillsong”.

She was sitting on the floor of the Hillsong City Church front foyer, with her back to the wall. This incident took place as the church sermon was going on. Pastor Brian Houston was preaching. It was at the 5pm service.

Steve McGhie and Pastor Darren spoke to her, and in her defence, after being told “a lesbian is gay and not needed here at Hillsong”, they went to grab her and manhandle her to the front door.

The lady at this time was sitting on the floor. As the pastors tried to get hold of her, by extreme rough handling, she said, “Please stop, you are hurting me”.

Pastor Steve McGhie and Pastor Darren were saying, “It’s time to go lady lover”.

She slapped the pastor so hard that the crack was heard inside the auditorium.

The two pastors gave this women no rights of removal under the act, and twisting her limbs behind her back, they pulled her up. She was yelling abuse at the pastors. She was taken outside and then thrown to the ground outside the door. By this stage she was a crying mess and she was bleeding a little. She would have gotten bruising after all this rough handling. I didn’t see her return.

This was one incident where the reports were shredded or never made. This lady was acting in self-defence. Yes the lady was gay, but this was plain bullying and rough handling, whatever you like to call it.

I saw this all happen and did not a thing. I was told by Steve McGhie and Pastor Darren, “It’s not your place, we will handle it”.

The security team can be very rough, and they can be very aggressive, doing pay-back and stuff like that. They can be very aggressive in protecting Hillsong and throwing out dissenters like this poor lesbian who got shown the door. They also spy on people and track them. For example Tanya Levin, the Hillsong watch lady”.

My comments:

The writer Donald Elley

The writer Donald Elley of Bellingen

I knew Steve McGhie, who is Brian Houston’s brother-in-law, in the 1990s at Christian Life Centre (CLC), Waterloo. I was there a decade before he turned up in Sydney with his wife Judith, Brian Houston’s youngest sister, from New Zealand.

CLC Waterloo is the second name for Hillsong. The first name was CLC Darlinghurst. I was present at the first two incarnations of Hillsong at Darlinghurst and Waterloo, two inner city suburbs of Sydney.

When I was a lay pastor at CLC Darlinghurst in the 1980s, under my watch, gays and lesbians were welcome at CLC services and at the Inner City home groups, which Pastor Laurie Murphy and I oversaw. The were handled with sensitivity, care and respect. A number of homosexuals came to know the Lord Jesus Christ and forsook their sinful gay lifestyle for something far greater.

I was responsible for ten home groups which Pastor Laurie Murphy and I pioneered throughout the Inner City of Sydney. Hillsong City church is located near home groups I pioneered. Two or three streets away from the current location of Hillsong City church in Waterloo, three home groups I pioneered in the early 1980s were located. Michael Driscoll, a friend of the artist Brett Whiteley, ran one in Regent Street, Robert “Bob” Harris, a published poet who won a National Award, ran another in Baptist Street, and I ran one in Great Buckingham Street.

It was not an issue for homosexuals, drug addicts and Aborigines to attend our home groups. We had plenty of these types of people coming to our numerous home groups, which by 1987 numbered 15 throughout Inner City Sydney.

I had Aboriginals coming to my home group in Great Buckingham Street, Redfern, from nearby, and from ‘The Block’, an Aboriginal slum area, from 1982. In those days things were much rougher than the gentrified conditions of Redfern today. Redfern was challenging, dangerous and rough in those days. In fact, many at CLC Darlinghurst were scared to go south of Cleveland Street. At the time I was praying two hours a day, was very full of the Holy Spirit to overflowing, and had ‘no fear’.

Lesbians and homosexuals were not only welcome at CLC Darlinghurst, unbeknown to us, the greatest homosexual of all was our leader. That is, the famed Pastor Frank Houston, the Great Secret Gay Lord and the founder of Hillsong, and Pastor Brian Houston’s father.

When you think about it, the devil couldn’t have invented a greater pantomime and camp charade than Hillsong Darlinghurst in the 1980s. We had a secret High-Camp Head Priest, Rev William Francis “Frank” Houston, affectionately known as ‘The Bishop’, jumping on seats, throwing glasses of water over the congregation, as what he comically called ‘blessings of the Lord’, while he was secretly homosexually abusing Peter Laughton, his young gullible needy worship leader, with coke bottles and other accessories. Frank Houston, who used to yell and rail against gays as he preached, yet he was the greatest gay of Darlinghurst, the gay capital of the Southern Hemisphere. “Receive the anointing”, he proclaimed as he threw a glass of water across the assembled masses. “Homosexuals must repent of their sins or they will go to hell”, he jumped up on a vacant chair in the congregation and shouted.

Pastor Frank Houston. Total deviate and con-artist.

Pastor Frank Houston. Hillsong’s founder. Secret High Camp Gay Lord from Hades. Homosexual and lifelong pedophile. Father of five children and many grandchildren. Total moral and sexual deviate and camp con-artist.

In his son Brian, this Great Gay Lord Frank Houston has metamorphosed into a monster from Hades. A Gay-Loving, Gay-lifestyle-tolerating narcissistic High Priest of Note. That is, Pastor Brian Houston, CEO of Hillsong International: Gay Lord of multitudes, even stretching to it’s most openly gay outpost, Hillsong New York City, where for over five years, one of the main worship leaders Josh Canfield, who is openly gay, and who lives with his male partner Reed, has been leading worship in Hillsong NYC services. Although they live together, Josh helpfully points out that their relationship hasn’t yet been consummated, whatever that means.

Hillsong NYC. Josh Canfield and Reed. Josh- open gay leading the choir. Reed in support in the choir too. Relationship ‘not consummated’, whatever that means.

Pastor Steve McGhie is a New Zealander like me. He’s married to Judith McGhie, Pastor Brian Houston’s sister.

I was informed Pastor Steve and Judith McGhie had gone back to New Zealand, but Pastor Steve’s Facebook page says he still works at Hillsong.

Judith McGhie’s Facebook lists her location as Timbuktu. It may be safer in Timbuktu than in New Zealand, although Ecuador has given Julian Assage, the Wikileaks whistleblower, asylum, so if the NSW Police were potentially interested in Steve and Judith for serious criminal offences, if I was them, I think I’d be looking at moving to South America, or maybe even Siberia, as options.

The NSW Police may be interested in both Pastor Steve McChie, and his wife Judith, because they failed in their duty as Hillsong Church leaders to report a pedophile for five years. That is Judith and Brian Houston’s father, Frank Houston, a secret life-long pedophile, who was found out in 1998/ 1999 and confessed to pedophilia. He admitted to the very minimum and lied through his teeth. Frank Houston flagged that he was a long-time pedophile, but wouldn’t tell much re the details. He never admitted the huge number of boy and teenage male victims or the sordid details of his secret extremely dark, devilish and corrupt secret pedophile and homosexual life.

Along with Pastors Bobbie and Brian Houston, Pastors Judith and Steve McGhie not only didn’t report Frank Houston to the Police, but they sheltered and protected him. These are both serious criminal offences under NSW and Australian Law.

The Australian Royal Commission barrister Simeon Beckett recommended last December that Pastor Brian Houston be criminally charged under NSW Law with not reporting and sheltering a pedophile.

Smug. Heartless. Zero care factor fro the victims of his dad's abuse.

Pastor Brian Houston. CEO of Hillsong. Criminal charges pending?

I’m not sure if those who colluded in the not reporting and sheltering Pastor Frank Houston, the founder of Hillsong, are in the sights of the NSW Attorney General’s Department and the NSW Police for the criminal charges of not reporting and sheltering a pedophile.

NSW Police

NSW Police

These Hillsong church shelterers of Pastor Frank Houston include Pastor Brian Houston, his wife Bobbie Houston, George Aghajanian the Hillsong Business Manager, Nabi Saleh the former owner of Gloria Jean Coffee, an extremely wealthy man, Pastor Steve McGhie, his wife Judith McGhie, Pastor John McMartin the NSW President of the Australian Christian Churches (formerly known as the Australian Assemblies of God (AoG), and Pastor Keith Ainge, the Australian AOG National Secretary in 2000-2004 when Frank Houston was not reported and sheltered.

That’s a pretty big deer you shot in New Zealand Steve. I hope you have a New Zealand or Australian Fire Arms license. Oh well, those are minor details. Just like not reporting a pedophile to the Police, a criminal offence. “She’ll be right mate”.

This incident of roughing up a lesbian and showing her the Hillsong door is pretty rough Steve.

Don’t you think it’s hypocritical that you and the Houstons love Papa Frank, a life-long secret homosexual and pedophile, yet you rough handle a poor defenceless lesbian and throw her out the Hillsong door.

The Great Apostasy

“The Great Apostasy, according to some religious groups, is the perceived fallen state of traditional Christianity, especially the Roman Catholic Church, because it allegedly allowed traditional Greco-Roman culture (i.e. Greco-Roman mysteries, deities of solar monism such as Mithras and Sol Invictus, and idol worship) into the church. In short, in their opinion, the church has fallen into apostasy. They feel that to attract the pagans to nominal Christianity, the Catholic Church took measures to amalgamate the Christian and pagan festivals so pagans would join the church; for example, bringing in the pagan festival of Easter as a substitute for the Pasch or Passover, although neither Jesus nor his Apostles enjoined the keeping of this or any other festival.

They consider the papacy to be in full-blown apostasy for allowing pagan rituals, beliefs and ceremonies to come into the church, having those who pointed out its apostasy persecuted and killed and never repenting of or fully admitting the true extent of its actions.

Many Protestant reformers, including Martin Luther, John Calvin, Thomas Cranmer, John Thomas, John Knox, and Cotton Mather, felt the early church had been led into apostasy by the Papacy and identified it as the Antichrist. The Centuriators of Magdeburg, a group of Lutheran scholars in Magdeburg headed by Matthias Flacius, wrote the 12-volume “Magdeburg Centuries” to discredit the papacy and identify the pope as the Antichrist”.

Biblical scriptures on the Great Apostasy

“Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth”.

1 Timothy 4:1-3

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock”.

Acts 20:28-29

Jesus warned:

“Then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come”.

I was reading a few articles on Hillsong-C3 watch site. There was a comment by a lady who lives in Hawaii about Hillsong. She commented how Hillsong were doing a musical show there for Christmas and how it was sold out for two nights. She was enquiring about Hillsong.

I set her straight about Hillsong. There is such a need to let people know.

I wrote, “What Hillsong is doing all over the world is getting worse and worse. It’s like a Great Apostasy”.

As I wrote this, the words resonated in my spirit. “Hillsong. It’s like a Great Apostasy”.

Every day it seems people, on-line magazines, like Charisma in the USA, and internet sites like Hillsong-C3 Watch, Hillsong Watch, C3 Watch and Hillsong Exposed, a new site, in Australia, are uncovering examples of Hillsong heresy.

Here is another of an even younger Brian.

A Brian aged about 30. I knew Brian personally in the 1980s. I build his first office in Baulkham Hills in 1983. A humble small office suite above some 1970s era shops on Windsor Road.

I remember the day Brian delivered his first sermon at Christian Life Centre (CLC), Darlinghurst. Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst is the first name for Hillsong.

It was 1982 and Brian stood up and delivered a high-velocity gabble of ill-defined thoughts and feelings, coupled with an exhaustive number of scriptures. There was zero Holy Spirit anointing on his preaching. I sense zero Holy Spirit on Brian’s preaching on the rare occasions I listen to him preach today. If I do listen to Brian, five minutes seems like an eternity.

Brian even shared once, to illustrate a point, how he was driving down Bondi Road and rear ended another car when he was distracted looking at some one walking along the footpath. Brian was married to Bobbie at the time. I always wanted to know what Brian was looking at. Was it one of those hot Bondi or Tamarama international models walking along the footpath of Bondi Road? Maybe Bobbie could ask him?

Brian Houston’s rumoured affair with a secretary Ruth at Hillsong circa 2004.

Bobbie would probably forgive Brian for a moral indiscretion. There’s too much money, vanity and ego involved for them to split up.

There is a rumour that Brian had an affair with a secretary named Ruth circa 2004 at Hillsong Baulkham Hills.

If anyone knows anything about this or any other helpful information about the Houstons, Hillsong or the AOG/ ACC please contact me. Communication can be anonymous. You can write a comment on the bottom of any article on this site in the comment’s box at the bottom. Write “please contact me”. I can see your email address when you comment and we can communicate confidentially. Some people want their name on comments and some don’t. It’s up to you.

I’d also like to hear from any boy and teen victims of Frank Houston unknown to me. Any communication would be strictly confidential. Simply write a message in the comments box.

I’d also like information on any indiscretions by AOG/ ACC/ Hillsong pastors, especially in the areas of pedophilia, adultery and financial impropriety.

The Origins of an Apostate Church.

In many ways Brian can’t help what he’s doing. After all his father Frank Houston was a secret lifelong criminal pedophile.

If you’d like to know more about Frank Houston and his pedophile activities I’ve compiled a history of what this extremely corrupt pastor secretly did throughout his long life of 84 years, in an article on this site, “Pastor Frank Houston. Part One. Frank Houston’s pedophile activities”, published on 13 September 2012.

If you google this title or “Frank Houston abuse” you’ll find this article.

Pastor Frank Houston. Lifelong pedophile. Answerable to God.

We may never know what the pedophile Frank Houston confessed to because the Australian AOG leaders, led by his son Brian, in circa 2000, didn’t make Pastor John Lewis’ report on Frank Houston public. Nor has Brian Houston shown any real transparency since. Transparency would have been helpful to everyone, especially the boy and young teen victims of which there are many. Maybe 400 plus.

Further “Pastor” Brian Houston has refused point-blank to help or assist the boy and teen victims of the founder of Hillsong in any way. Brian Houston told the Royal Commission this.

What kind of Christian pastor are we dealing with here?

An extremely corrupt and arrogant man, who shouldn’t even be called a “pastor”. I only write “Pastor” Brian Houston because it sounds O so hypocritical of Brian to call himself “Pastor”.

Nothing at Hillsong is made public in the way of improprieties and scandals. That’s my job. And the job of the Hillsong watch sites and others who hear the truth and have a conviction to speak out about all Hillsong’s wrongs, of which there are so many.

Brian. I love you.

Pastor Brian Houston. “Brian, did he have an affair with a secretary Ruth circa 2004?”

Annoying questions I know. But that’s my job.

The Corruption of the Apostate Church Hillsong

Hillsong has such great power. Even independent Christian bookshops like the highly successful Koorong Bookshop in Sydney bow and scrape to Hillsong. A staff member at Koorong recently told me they don’t have stock of Brian’s book, “You need more money” because Hillsong requested it be removed.

brian houston127

Koorong would be making a lot of cash out of Hillsong books, DVDs and other product.

Graham Richardson, the former Australian Labour Party politician and now media commentator, recently interviewed Brian on his Sky News program “Richo and Jones”.

Graham Richardson quoted to Brian that Hillsong has the highest music CD and DVD sales in Australia, including secular music. He commented how amazing it was for a Christian church to dominate secular commercial music in this way.

Brian was aware of Hillsong’s success with its hits and its music industry successes.

After all Brian is the Executive Producer of every DVD sold and personally takes a cut of 1.5 percent on every sale. It may be 3 per cent but it used to be 1.5 per cent in 1990.

Taking royalties and commissions on Christian worship is a great sin before Almighty God. It’s stealing from the Holy of Holies- the most sacred place in the universe.

This is why Hillsong needs to be spoken against and brought down. It’s another Great Apostasy of old.

Great Protestant Reformers like Martin Luther has always spoke out against Heresy and Apostasy.

The fact that Hillsong allows gays to gather and fellowship unrepentant at Hillsong New York City and Hillsong Los Angeles is evidence of the Great Apostasy of Hillsong.

“Pastor” Carl Lentz, Co-Pastor of Hillsong New York City with “Pastor” Joel Houston, is particularly compromised in respect to gays and celebrities. The way he fawns over celebrities is really quite sickening. He should be ashamed of himself, but he’s not.

Pastor Brian. Gay?

bobbie v3

There’s a Brian we don’t really know. But it’s a Brian we can see if we look carefully. A soul Brian that craves approval, recognition and significance.

While it’s part of the human condition and make-up to crave significance, as Christians we have to be careful how we find it. If we connect deeply with the Holy Spirit, and allow Him to centre Himself in our lives, we can find significance in doing something fulfilling that He wants us to do.

Carl Lentz, Joel Houston and Ben Houston seek significance and recognition from hanging out with celebrities and being “cool and hip”. Being seen with celebrities, even gay celebrities. Being “Pastors”. Big-noting themselves. “I’m the son of the great Brian Houston”- Joel and Ben Houston. A sickening sense of entitlement and out-of-control egos.

I watched on video young frisky errant Justin make a really bad pedophilia comment at a concert recently. It was shown on Fox E-News two weeks ago. He was performing in Toronto, Canada and chatting to himself and to his mainly girl teen audience… Pedophile flirting.

Justin Bieber said, “I see all you young girls here. How old are you? Fourteen mmm. Only four years to go…”

I’m sure young Justin doesn’t let the legal age of consent be a barrier to him.

The trouble with Justin Bieber, Carl Lentz, Joel Houston, Ben Houston, Brian Houston and Bobbie Houston is that they don’t have the Holy Spirit, they aren’t sanctified and dealt with by the Holy Spirit, so the flesh is always going to come out of them.

Hillsong is one of many Great Apostasy Churches on the planet which are emerging to fulfil Bible Prophecies.

Lucifer of old is mocking God and taunting mankind by raising up errant flamboyant arrogant Churches like Hillsong, who are so self-assured in their many sins.

But God will have the last say.

Bobby Houston. The gospel of sex, outward appearance and lust for possessions.

Bobbie Houston. The gospel of sex, outward appearance and lust for possessions.

“My people have ears but they do not wish to listen, eyes but they do not wish to see”

“Hear this, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear”.

Jeremiah 5:21

In context:

“Declare this in the house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah, saying, “Now hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see; who have ears but do not hear. “Do you not fear Me?” declares the LORD. “Do you not tremble in My presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it. Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.…”

Jeremiah 5:20-22.

“Do you not fear Me?” declares the LORD. “Do you not tremble in My presence?”

This is a very serious problem today. People don’t fear Almighty God. Yet, on our death beds, or in a tragedy like being lost at sea, we find our lungs and cry out to God. Then we make it to the ‘shore’, whether that ‘shore’ be physical or spiritual, and we forget about Him. Yes, Almighty God who created the very universe and wishes to have a relationship with mankind.

On 5 December 1975, as a lad of 19, I surrendered my life to the Lord God of Heaven in a very real way. Prior to that I’d been living my own life the way I wanted to. Teenage years of rebellion and experimentation. It was the free-rolling late 60s and 70s I grew up in. ‘The love generation’. ‘The hippie generation’. ‘The age of rebellion against all the old mores, and experimentation and finding new freedoms’.

In 1975 the Lord decided He’d had enough of my rebellious ways and decided to bring me home to that to which I was called as a little child.

For Corrie Ten Boom had visited my parent’s home in Whanganui, New Zealand, in 1957, when I was a little baby in the crib, prayed over me and prophesied over me that I was a prince of the Lord and one day God would use me for His purposes. My mother Valerie has shared with me about this decades ago.

Corrie Ten Boom was a great Protestant evangelist. An icon of her generation in Christian circles. She’d survived the horrors of the Nazi concentration camp in Ravensbruck in Germany in WWII. Being Dutch, and because her family were caught sheltering Jews, her whole family was captured and taken there. From that dark horror God took hold of her and made her a great evangelist.

Wikipedia extract:

‘Cornelia “Corrie” ten Boom (15 April 1892 – 15 April 1983) was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and other family members, helped many Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II. She was imprisoned for her actions. Her most famous book, The Hiding Place, describes the ordeal.

Early life

Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Corrie ten Boom grew up in the nearby city of Haarlem as the youngest of four children born to Cornelia Johanna Arnolda (died 1921 of a cerebral haemorrhage) and Casper (1859–1944). She had two sisters, Betsie ten Boom (died 1944 in the Ravensbrück concentration camp) and Nollie (died in 1953); her brother, Willem ten Boom, was born in 1887 and died in 1946 of spinal tuberculosis. Corrie’s three maternal aunts also lived with her family: Bep died in the early 1920s of tuberculosis; Jans died in the mid-1920s of diabetes; and Anna, who took care of the children after their mother’s death, died in the early 1930s.

Casper ten Boom worked as a watchmaker, and in 1924 Corrie became the first licensed female watchmaker in the Netherlands. Corrie and Betsie never married, and until their arrest they lived their entire lives in their childhood home in Haarlem. Corrie also ran a church for mentally-disabled people, raised foster children in her home, and was extremely active in other charitable causes.

World War II

In May 1940, the Nazis invaded the Netherlands. Among their restrictions was banning a club which Ten Boom had run for young girls. In May 1942 a well-dressed woman came to the Ten Booms’ with a suitcase in hand and told them that she was a Jew, her husband had been arrested several months before, her son had gone into hiding, and Occupation authorities had recently visited her, so she was afraid to go back. She had heard that the Ten Booms had helped their Jewish neighbors, the Weils, and asked if they might help her too. Casper ten Boom readily agreed that she could stay with them. A devoted reader of the Old Testament, he believed that the Jews were the ‘chosen people’, and he told the woman, “In this household, God’s people are always welcome.” The family then became very active in the Dutch underground hiding refugees; they honored the Jewish Sabbath.

Thus the Ten Booms began “the hiding place”, or “de schuilplaats”, as it was known in Dutch (also known as “de Béjé”, pronounced in Dutch as ‘bayay’, an abbreviation of their street address, the Barteljorisstraat). Corrie and Betsie opened their home to refugees — both Jews and others who were members of the resistance movement — being sought by the Gestapo and its Dutch counterpart. They had plenty of room, although wartime shortages meant that food was scarce. Every non-Jewish Dutch person had received a ration card, the requirement for obtaining weekly food coupons. Through her charitable work, Ten Boom knew many people in Haarlem and remembered a couple who had a disabled daughter. The father was a civil servant who by then was in charge of the local ration-card office. She went to his house one evening, and when he asked how many ration cards she needed, “I opened my mouth to say, ‘Five,'” Ten Boom wrote in The Hiding Place. “But the number that unexpectedly and astonishingly came out instead was: ‘One hundred.’ He gave them to her and she provided cards to every Jew she met.

Secret room

With so many people using their house, the family built a secret room in case a raid took place. They built it in Corrie ten Boom’s bedroom because it was on the house’s top floor, hopefully giving people the most time to hide and avoid detection, as searches usually started on the ground/first floor. A member of the Dutch resistance designed the hidden room behind a false wall. Gradually, family and supporters brought building supplies into the house, hiding them in briefcases and rolled-up newspapers. When finished, the secret room was about 30 inches (76 cm) deep, the size of a medium wardrobe. A ventilation system allowed for breathing. To enter the secret room, a person had to open a sliding panel in the plastered brick wall under a bottom bookshelf and crawl in on hands and knees. In addition, the family installed an electric raid-warning buzzer. When the Nazis raided the Ten Boom house in 1944, seven people were using the hiding place.

Arrest, detention, and release

On February 28, 1944, a Dutch informant told the Nazis about the Ten Booms’ work; at around 12:30PM the Nazis arrested the entire Ten Boom family. They were sent to Scheveningen prison; Nollie and Willem were released immediately along with Corrie’s nephew Peter; Casper died 10 days later. Corrie and Betsie were sent from Scheveningen to Herzogenbusch political concentration camp (also known as Kamp Vught), and finally to the Ravensbrück concentration camp in Germany, where Betsie died on December 16, 1944. Before she died, she told Corrie, “There is no pit so deep that He [God] is not deeper still.”

Corrie ten Boom was released on December 28, 1944. In the movie The Hiding Place, she narrates the section on her release from camp, saying that she later learned that her release had been a clerical error. She said, “God does not have problems — only plans.” The Jews whom the Ten Booms had been hiding at the time of their arrests remained undiscovered and all but one, an old woman named Mary, survived.

Life after the war

After the war, Ten Boom returned to The Netherlands to set up a rehabilitation center. The refuge houses consisted of concentration-camp survivors and sheltered the jobless Dutch who previously collaborated with Germans during the occupation. She returned to Germany in 1946, and traveled the world as a public speaker, appearing in more than 60 countries. She wrote many books during this time.

Ten Boom told the story of her family members and their World War II work in her best-selling book, The Hiding Place (1971), which was made into a World Wide Pictures film in 1975, starring Jeannette Clift as Corrie and Julie Harris as Betsie. In 1977, 85-year-old Corrie emigrated to Placentia, California. In 1978, she suffered two strokes, the first rendering her unable to speak, and the second resulting in paralysis. She died on her 91st birthday, 15 April 1983, after a third stroke.

A sequel film, Return to the Hiding Place (War of Resistance), was released in 2011, based on Hans Poley’s book painting a wider image of the circle she was part of’.

The spiritual DNA I come from treats ladies like Corrie Ten Boon, Catherine Booth, General Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army’s wife and other women like them as their heroes.

I don’t want to be unkind but Bobbie Houston would never make it on this list or any list of great Protestant women.

Where I come from its OK for women to minister and preach. I realise groups such as the NSW Anglicans are very conservative and ban women from preaching. At the other end of the scale are the American Presbyterians, who not only allow women to be ministers (Presbyterian word for pastor) but its OK if they’re lesbians too.

We live in a very interesting, tolerant and complex world.

Much of the Holy Bible isn’t politically correct.

For 400 years from the Book of Malachi in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible until the Book of Matthew in the New Testament, God was silent to His people.

From 1980 to today, 16 September 2015, God has been basically silent in the earth. There is the occasional prophet, pastor or evangelist who gets hold of something from God and runs with it but generally we’re living in a spiritual vacuum or spiritual desert.

Spiritual deception abounds today.

My wife Michelle is 34. She was born in 1981. All the good things like the Charismatic movement and the Jesus movement happened before she was born. Michelle grew up in a Pentecostal church in Grafton, Mid-North NSW, Australia. The church was lively enough. But she hasn’t witnessed times when God really does move.

I’ve experienced small revivals but never anything really big. But not many of us have. The birth of Kapiti Christian Centre on the Kapiti Coast north of Wellington, New Zealand, in the late 1970s was a mini-revival. I was attending that church under Tom Marshall and witnessed the Beautiful Presence of the Lord which came down day after day, night after night, in that upper room above a shopping precinct in Raumati.

In the 1970s there was a mighty revival in the Solomon Islands. Pastor Ken Wright, an Assemblies of God (AOG) pastor at Palmerston North, New Zealand, came back from the Solomon Islands in 1976. He’d felt spiritually hungry and decided to travel around the world where there were revivals.

Ken Wright came to Mirimar Baptist Church in 1976 and spoke at the evening service. He shared some wonderful things he’d witnessed and experienced in the Solomon Islands revival. Mighty movings of the Holy Spirit. Ken then asked if anyone wanted prayer. When folks came forward he prayed for them without even touching their heads. The Spirit of God fell on each person he prayed for and they were smitten by the Lord. Crying. Weeping uncontrollably. It was bedlam for hours. God showed up and moved to renew His people that night.

‘Solomon Islands, 1970

Muri Thompson, a Maori evangelist from New Zealand, visited the Solomons in July and August 1970 where the church had already experienced significant renewal and was praying for revival. Many of these Christians were former warriors and cannibals gradually won to Christ in spite of initial hostility and the martyrdom of early missionaries and indigenous evangelists.

Beginning at Honiara, the capital, Muri spent two months visiting churches and centres on the islands. Initially the national leaders and missionaries experienced deep conviction and repentance, publicly acknowledging their wrong attitudes. It was very humbling. A new unity and harmony transformed their relationships, and little things which destroyed that unity were openly confessed with forgiveness sought and given.

Then in the last two weeks of these meetings the Spirit of God moved even more powerfully in the meetings with more deep repentance and weeping, sometimes even before the visiting team arrived. At one meeting the Spirit of God came upon everyone after the message in a time of silent prayer when the sound of a gale came above the gathering of 2000 people.

Multitudes were broken, melted and cleansed, including people who had been strongly opposed to the Lord. Weeping turned to joyful singing. Everywhere people were talking about what the Lord had done to them. Many received healings and deliverance from bondage to evil spirits. Marriages were restored and young rebels transformed.

Everywhere people were praying together every day. They had a new hunger for God’s Word. People were sensitive to the Spirit and wanted to be transparently honest and open with God and one another.

Normal lectures in the South Seas Evangelical Church Bible School were constantly abandoned as the Spirit took over the whole school with times of confession, prayer and praise.

Teams from these areas visited other islands, and the revival caught fire there also. Eventually pastors from the Solomons were visiting other Pacific countries and seeing similar moves of God there.

Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea, 1973

Prayer meetings began among pastors, missionaries and Bible College students in the Baptist mission area among Engas of the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea in the early 1970s owing to the low spiritual state in the churches. This prayer movement spread to the villages. In some villages people agreed to pray together everyday until God sent new life to the church.

During September 1973 pastors from the Solomon Islands and Enga students who were studying at the Christian Leaders Training College visited the Enga churches. Revival broke out in many villages on Sunday 16 September. Many hundreds of people, deeply convicted of sin, repented and were reconciled to God and others with great joy.

Pastors in one area held a retreat from Monday to Wednesday in a forest which previously had been sacred for animistic spirit worship. Others joined the pastors there. Healings reported included a lame man able to walk, a deaf mute who spoke and heard, and a mentally deranged girl restored.

Normal work stopped as people in their thousands hurried to special meetings. Prayer groups met daily, morning and evening. In the following months thousands of Christians were restored and thousands of pagans converted. The church grew in size and maturity (Vision magazine, 1973:46).

Duranmin, Papua New Guinea, 1977

Pastors from the Solomon Islands spoke about their revival at a pastors and leaders conference in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. Diyos Wapnok attended from the Baptist Mission area at Telefolmin. He heard God call his name three times in the night there and realised that the Lord was drawing his attention to some special challenge.

Later, on Thurdsay afternoon 10 March, 1977 at Duranmin in the rugged western highlands, where Diyos was the principal of the Sepik Baptist Bible College, while he spoke to about 50 people they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and great joy. Revival had begun. It spread through the area with vibrant new enthusiasm. Conversions, Bible studies, prayer and healings of many kinds were common. 3,000 were added to the church in 3 years. The church grew and was strengthened. This revival movement spread to other areas as Diyos and others told of what God was doing’.

My comments:

I met a man from the Solomon Islands once who’d been a lad during that revival. He said it was awesome. When God truly moves it is awesome.

I knew Muri Thompson in the late 1970s. Muri was from Porirua north of Wellington, New Zealand, a pre-dominantly Polynesian suburb like Mangere in South Auckland. There are some large Polynesian churches in Mangere.

‘Polynesian’ is the term for the indigenous races of the South Pacific Islands, including New Zealand.

Bobbie Houston looks like she has some Maori blood in her. The Maoris are a fine people and if that is true Bobbie is blessed.

I grew up spiritually from 1975 to 1980 in a very spiritual charged environment. Since 1980 nothing much of value spiritually has happened in Australia and New Zealand. The Charismatic movement dried up and what has evolved in the Pentecostal Churches of Australia and New Zealand is very dead spiritually.

The Hillsong organisation led by Pastors Brian and Bobby Houston is to blame for this to a large extent. If you walk into almost any Pentecostal church in Australia and New Zealand you’ll experience a Hillsong or C3 type of service. Loud rock-off music, lasers, smoke machines, sophisticted audio-visuals, cool Christian vibes, buzz words, contrived shouts of “hallelujah” and the mods and cons of ‘modern Pentecost’.

Friends, I’m sorry to rain on your party, but these ‘Hillsong-type’ experiences are not Holy Spirit experiences.

Beverly Houston, Brian Houston’s sister: “Donald (who ever you are) give me a call”

The following remarkable and highly insightful comments by Beverly Houston, Pastor Brian Houston, the current head pastor of Hillsong Global’s, sister, were made on 16 December 2014.

Blog article of 17.12.2014.

Beverly Houston got angry last night about me and my articles about her dad Pastor Frank Houston, self-confessed pedophile and her brother, Pastor Brian Houston, pedophile shelterer and protector, and rejector of his father’s numerous boy victims.

I think Beverly might have been on the house-wife’s sweet remedy (again).

Last time Beverly got angry she let fly with another batch of comments.

The Houston sisters can get quite fiery.

This time Beverly wrote numerous comments on my blog site.

Here they all are published unedited:

Beverly Houston’s comment about my article written on 7 October 2012, “Pastor Frank Houston. Part 2. Pedophile. Frank’s Jackyl and Hyde persona”.

Hope you are all enjoying your witch hunt of Brian Houston, it is not going to help victims of my father. Get real you grow up to think your father is an awesome person and then you find out all this, it takes years to comprehend it. I don’t believe in God but if I did I think you would be all condemned to hell. Think somewhere in the bible it talks about the log in your eye!! You can condemn Brian all you like but I guess at the end of the day he has been a victim of his father too and as sad as I feel for AHA, attacking Brian is not really going to help him heal. I think maybe he should be looking at his mothers position on this!! Very sad.

I don’t have much to say about Peter Lawton, except very different situation, he was a consenting adult!!

Hope you are all enjoying your witch hunt of Brian Houston

Beverly Houston’s comment about my article written on 20 September 2014, “Hillsong. Brian Houston. Part one. Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse. Hillsong and Pastor Brian Houston’s spin and cover up over his father Pastor Frank Houston’s eleven or more pedophile and homosexuality victims over four plus decades”.

Hey Donald (who ever you are) just want you to know you are an awesome fuck wit. Are you getting some notoriety out of this, can’t see how in any way this is of help to victims of my father. I do not believe in God, but if I did I would see you as the biggest hypocrite out. You should do some research in to Stan Carter, I have childhood memories!!! Condeming/jailing Brian is not going to help victims, and yes as a family member we are victims too!! Can you imagine the father you looked up to did this, it takes a long time to believe and accept it and yes we feel very sad for AHA but unfortunately his misplaced anger at Brian is not going to help him heal, should have done it before my father had dimensia and made him face up to his own sins, sorry it’s a witch hunt, they weren’t Brian’s sins!!! Just want to say your a hero!!

Hey Donald I’m so impressed for your heart for God!! your amazing, you even know my sisters break up business funnily you have better recollections than she does. You are amazing, soooo helpful to victims of my father. Guess by making my family all look bad some how consuls you and everyone else, but really my father did what he did, we were children and still find it hard to believe. As I’ve said before your a total wanker and I guess your godly outlook makes you amazingly awesome. Go for it mate we unfortunately are victims too, including Brian!!

Hey Donald, and another thought is, don’t you think ‘Rose has a lot to answer for, because I’m god dam sure if my kids said they were molested by someone I would check it out!! I feel very sorry for AHA, I remember him, but he hasn’t tried to track any of us, unfortunately I go by the name of Houston and I’ve never heard from him, if I did I (like Brian) would do any thing to try and help him, I don’t have any money but would try in other ways!! Hate the way you are trying to make my family pay for the sins of our father, Brian included and yes we have all suffered post traumatic syndrome, not that you would understand that cause you are HELPING down trodden people, your awesome!!

Brian included and yes we have all suffered post traumatic syndrome

Beverly Houston’s 1st comment about my article written on 9 December 2014, “Pastor Frank Houston part 11: should Pastor Frank Houston be honoured in any way”?

Love the way you are all are so virtuous!! Yes apparently my father was a pedophile and for that I feel very sad, but you know what, we were children (including Brian) and yes it has taken us some time to realise these accusations are true because we loved and adored him, but when I read these messages, even though I don’t believe in God I find it amazing the witch hunt on Brian and just want to say you are all amazing christians and I think this is an amazing witch hunt and why is it that this Donald (who ever he may be ) never reported it sooner and maybe could have protected someone, just saying!!! Moron!

just saying!!! Moron!

just saying!!! Moron!

Beverly Houston’s 2nd comment about my article written on 9 December 2014, “Pastor Frank Houston part 11: should Pastor Frank Houston be honoured in any way”?

Beverly Houston’s comment no 1 about my article written on 30 October 2014, “Hillsong. Pastor Brian Houston. Part 33. Honouring victim SA1 the first South Australian boy victim of Pastor Frank Houston’s abuse”.

Hey Donald (who ever you are) you are a wanker, destroying my family is not going to help any victims of my father, but maybe will score you brownie points when you go to heaven hehe. Your awesome you found out about my father and just wondering how long it took you to do anything about it?? your a moron you think by bad mouthing my sisters divorce makes my father look worse, nothing to do with it, your a total wanker, give me a call Beverley Houston (edit: Beverley shares her mobile number) if you have the guts, or are you just trying to make us pay for the sins of our father!!

your a total wanker, give me a call Beverley Houston

Donald (who ever you are) give me a call because as far as I know there are six victims and now suddenly you are reporting 200!! Don’t you think that minimises the victims claim, interested to know if you can give me 200 names, call me I think your a bit like the media and 1 becomes 100, call me I’m interested and no I have no interest in the church, think the whole god thing is a total fast!! but yes I think your after notoriety, and people are sucked in by you, call me!

Donald (who ever you are) give me a call

Beverly Houston’s comment no 3 about my article written on 30 October 2014, “Hillsong. Pastor Brian Houston. Part 33. Honouring victim SA1 the first South Australian boy victim of Pastor Frank Houston’s abuse”.

And don’t fucking say to me Brian won’t pay etc etc. Did he commit these crimes, no he didn’t and he is like the rest of my family trying to come to terms with it it. Get a life as much as I feel sorry for AHA we are suffering to, ask him has he tortured his mother over her disgusting response, put that in the media, absolutely disgusting!! So over this!

And don’t fucking say to me Brian won’t pay etc etc

Beverly Houston’s comment no 4 about my article written on 30 October 2014, “Hillsong. Pastor Brian Houston. Part 33. Honouring victim SA1 the first South Australian boy victim of Pastor Frank Houston’s abuse”.

Brian didn’t try to hide anything, he actually didn’t know, just like all my family and amazingly other people knew (NZ AOG) but you know it’s the usual witch hunt, but you are all amazing christians and when you go to heaven I’m sure you will score brownie points for this. and do you really think AHA will be healed by demonising Brian, I don’t think so, he wasn’t the perpetrator and AHA was 7-12yrs old and Brian has a very different memory of it believe it or not, but he like the rest of my family have no desire to protect our father from the terrible things he did. I am so over this shit Donald that you are portraying Brian as not wanting to pay victims (even though they weren’t his victims), the royal commission is nothing to do with compensation, another one of your attention seeking tactics. Just want to remind everyone that you knew about it before we did and let it go on and now you are trying to make my family look bad, god bless you your awesome I’m sure you will score a very high seat in heaven for being a wanker!! Call me.

I’m sure you will score a very high seat in heaven for being a wanker!! Call me.

I’m sure you will score a very high seat in heaven for being a wanker!! Call me.

My comments:

Beverly supplied me with her mobile phone number. I’ll bear it in mind. If I ever feel like calling someone to be abused.

It’s always a pleasure to have Beverly Houston as a guest on my blog site. Her comments became less coherent, but more passionate as the sauce bit in. But that’s OK. Anytime Beverly. It was nice to hear from you again.

I’d now like to have Beverly’s virtuous brother Brian on this blog-site.
