Early Hillsong

I was at CLC Darlinghurst, the second name and second location of Hillsong, from 1981 and knew Jeff Beacham.

In the 1990s, Pastor Jeff Beacham formed an end-time prophet style ministry based at Christian Life Centre (CLC) Sydney. Former names: CLC Double Bay, CLC Darlinghurst. Later names: Hillsong City Church, Hillsong City Campus.

Jeff’s ministry was derived from Barry Smith, a self-styled end-time prophet from New Zealand.

Although no intellectual, Barry had devised a complex system of end-time interpretation of the scriptures related to current events. Some people would write off Barry Smith as a misguided mad false prophet. Frank Houston liked Barry and gave him a lot of playing time at CLC Darlinghurst in the early days.

Although Frank liked Barry he secretly thought Barry was a bit of a looney. Frank told me, “Barry is a looney but the people love him. Every time he comes here, he packs in the crowds and fills the church coffers”.

Barry Smith was popular and filled the house at CLC Darlinghurst. Translate “filled the church coffers”. Frank told me Barry’s ability to draw the crowds, and intrinsically the cash, was a plus for Barry, “even if I don’t believe everything he says”.

Impressionable young people believed every word Barry said.

Jeff was greatly influenced by Barry Smith, a fellow New Zealander and similar personality type to Jeff.

Barry died before his time. He was a tall solid man and he liked hamburgers and used to make negative jokes about health foods. He died from a heart attack.

Pastor Jeff Beacham or “Jeff” as he was commonly known, took over from Barry Smith and formulated his own end-time ministry.

In those days, Jeff was a bit of a knock-about man. Like Terry Appel, a bricky who became a pastor at CLC Darlinghurst and operates on the Northern Beaches as a pastor. Terry Appel started ministry as a head deacon at CLC Darlinghurst.

Terry Appel was a kind of spiritual bouncer meets servant of God. Solid and strong but big-hearted behind that rugged exterior and gingery beard.

Similarly Jeff Beacham had a bit of a Sylvester Stallone edge but again he was good-hearted and well-intended.

After his formation of his End-Time ministry, the prophecies hadn’t come to pass as quickly as Jeff had thought, so he decided to focus on the Holy Spirit.

Jeff hooked up with John and Carol Arnott, who were having success in Toronto, Canada and he brought their “Catch the Fire” ministry to CLC at Waterloo, its current location. Its now called Hillsong City Campus.

Jeff Beacham had a large family to feed. Five kids. He was serving God, and Jeff is a very genuine guy, but a man’s got to provide for his family.

Jeff told me the following story in about 1998, before the Frank Houston pedophile scandal hit the fan. At the time of the story, Frank was still the great man of God. Highly respected and almost revered.

Jeff had been ripped off by that cunning old fox Frank Houston the first time he brought Catch the Fire to Australia. Jeff’s Ministry was independently incorporated to CLC Waterloo with no legal ties or obligations to CLC. But Jeff made the mistake of not setting up a bank account separate from the treasury of CLC.

The first Catch the Fire made a healthy profit and the profit was, by verbal agreement with Frank, supposed to go to Jeff’s ministry. But CLC were a bit short of cash as always, and Frank took the profit.

Undeterred, Jeff forgave old Frank and decided to stage a second Catch the Fire. This time, remembering his first experience with Frank, he got Frank to sign a contract with the profits going to Jeff’s ministry coffers.

The 2nd Catch the Fire was an even bigger success. It made a profit of $150,000, which was a decent sum in the late 1990s. Still is today.

Cunning old Frank eyed the profit and took it into the CLC coffers. Jeff was very upset about this and shirt-fronted Frank.

Old Frank said to Jeff, “Sorry, we need the cash”.

Jeff replied, “But Frank, you signed a contract”.

To this Frank retorted, “It doesn’t matter. If you don’t like it, sue me then”.

Jeff, who greatly respected Frank, although this respect was being severely tested, decided to forgive him, give it to God and move on. There was nothing that he could do about it.

“Pastor” Frank Houston was a pedophile who used Christian ministry as a cloak, disguise and instrument to access little boys and young males.

Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, Frank thought it was the perfect disguise to access his prey. This is a common tactic of pedophiles.

Frank Houston groomed good, trusting, wholesome New Zealand and Australian Christian families, then secretly accessed, assaulted and sexually abused their innocent, young boys.

Frank Houston’s preferred pedophile victims were little boys and young males. So by clinical psychological definition he was a pedophile. A pedophile sexually abuses children aged under 13, even babies.

In his criminal pedophile mind, Frank Houston calculated that being a Christian pastor provided the safest and easiest access to innocent little Christian boys.

Innocent little boys and young males were the object of his evil pedophile desires.

Christian ministry provided ongoing access to children, with the least chance of being caught out.

The pedophile mind works like this.

A pedophile’s primary motivation and satisfaction in life is to try to satisfy his, or her, insatiable inner sexual lusts for children and minors.

In my last blog I explained how Frank Houston was a pedophile who used Christian ministry as a cloak, instrument and disguise to gain access to good, kind, godly trusting Christian families and to sexually assault their little boys and young males.

Frank Houston selected a vocation in Christian ministry because he thought that Christian ministry is the best and the safest occupation and profession in which to operate as a pedophile and not be caught and sent to jail or worse.

Nobody, especially in the more innocent pre-1990s, would have expected Frank Houston to be a secret hardened evil pedophile.

It is very unlikely Frank would have gotten away with this type of behaviour today.

I write “innocent” because in the 1940s to 1970s, when Frank Houston was very active as a pedophile, there wasn’t the societal consciousness, or the educational and social awareness, about child sexual abuse that there is today.

Nor were there child protections such as police clearances, as common procedural practice, prior to people being employed in fields where children could easily be accessed and sexually abused.

And even today, after all the scandals of the past 25 years in all Christian denominations, Christian pastors, except Roman Catholic priests, are still some of the most trusted people in society.

Could a better foil or cover for a pedophile be found than that of a Christian pastor in the 1940s when Frank Houston trained as a Salvation Army Captain at the age of 18?

Could a better foil or cover for a pedophile be found than that of an Assemblies of God pastor in the 1950s to 1970s in New Zealand when Frank Houston was a leading Assemblies of God pastor aged in his 30s, 40s and 50s?

Frank was head of the New Zealand AOG from 1965 to 1977.

Could a better foil or cover for a pedophile be found than that of an Australian AOG pastor in the 1980s when Frank Houston was a Sydney Pentecostal evangelist and leading pastor aged in his 60s?

At heart a pedophile is a coward who will scurry away into a dark corner if they feel they may be found out.

A pedophile also has a large range of ploys and strategies to keep their victims quiet, ranging from threats of violence to statements like what boy victim AHA said Frank Houston said it him.

One of the things Frank Houston said to boy victim AHA was “Even if you tell people, they won’t believe you because I’m a famous evangelist. Who would they believe? You or me?”.

This is the criminal mind of a pedophile talking. They’re talking from within their den or nest which has layers and layers of well-thought-out decoys, shields, cob-webs and protections.

The Western Australian slang word for pedophiles is “Rock Spider”.

The reason for the name “Rock Spider” is that pedophiles like little kids cracks. Many pedophiles do lots of darker things than to touch children. Pedophiles are child rapists and amongst the worst human beings ever on the planet.

That’s why pedophiles are at the bottom of the jail hierarchy and inmates persecute and torment them. Even felons know that pedophiles are the low of the low.

By 1965, Frank Houston was way too far into his cover as a Christian pastor to change his cover and disguise.

From the 1940s, Frank Houston had embarked on a really dark and demonic series of extremely serious assaults on little boys and male teens.

In rapid succession in the 1940s to 1970s, the pedophile Frank Houston sexually abused over 400 little boys and young teens. Maybe over 1000. Maybe 2000 plus.

This is a projection of mine based on an enormous body of evidence I’ve collected on Frank Houston. Everything is published on this site except private conversations, mainly by email, with various victims, their supporters and others. But there is little I know that will help the reader understand Frank Houston, Brian Houston and the Hillsong organisation that I haven’t shared on this site.

The known victims of this out-of-control pedophile spree conducted by the pedophile Frank Houston in the 1940s to 1970s included at least 17 known boys aged 7 to 12. In reality hundreds, if not thousands of little boys

There were at least six known boy victims when Frank was pastor at Lower Hutt AOG.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Frank Houston sexually abused WNZ1 (my code name), now known to be Brett Sengstock.

Frank Houston sexually abused at least two other boys at a home bible group he was leading in another Wellington suburb.

The Bible study was being held in WNZ1’s parent’s home. David Cowdrey has recently gone public saying he’s that boy victim. The boys were aged about 11. He snuck down the corridor into WNZ1’s bedroom, pretending be going to use the bathroom, and sexually abused him in his childhood bed.

In 1971 and 1972, Frank Houston sexually abused SA1 (my code name) and at least two to three other little boys at Klemzeig Assemblies of God (AoG) Youth Camps at Cudlee Creek near Adelaide South Australia.

SA1 wrote in his statement to the Australian Royal Commission into Child Abuse that the epicentre of the sexual abuse of little boys was the male toilet block. I organised SA1 to contact them. He contacted me in 2012.

SA1 saw Frank Houston come out of a toilet block with another boy. Frank Houston had his trousers open and had an erection.

It is likely that there were numerous little boys sexually abused by Frank Houston at these AOG Youth Camps at Cudlee Creek in 1971 and 1972.

In the early 1970s, Frank sexually abused teen ANZ1 (my code name) at a hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand. He lured him there on the pretext of helping ANZ1 with some problems. Then he sexually abused him. ANZ1 later suicided because of the negative impact of this sexual abuse by the pedophile Frank Houston on his life.

In the 1970s, Frank Houston sexually abused Peter Fowler who was aged 15, while head pastor at Lower Hutt AOG and head of the New Zealand AOG. This abuse occurred in a motel room. I don’t know how he got Peter there. Frank would have thought of a way to lure him there.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s the pedophile Frank Houston sexually abused Royal Commission boy victim AHA (Brett Sengstock) at Brett’s parent’s apartment in Coogee Beach Sydney. Frank was an honoured guest of Brett’ss parents. A famous evangelist who they felt privileged to host.

These are only the victims we know about. The tip of the iceberg.

From Frank Houston’s known assaults and behaviour, I believe there are a lot more victims. Probably over 400. Maybe over 1000. May 2000 plus. Plus there are thousands of victims of masked homosexual and masked pedophile behaviour by Frank Houston.

Even the pedophile Frank Houston himself said to his son Brian, after he admitted in 1999 to having committed pedophile crimes, “I was very active at the time”. He was referring to the 1960s and 1970s.

Very active. How active? We may never know.

As Pastor Brian Houston said to the Sydney media, after he appeared at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, “We may never know the number of victims”.

The average pedophile abuses 250 children in their lifetime. Staggering. Sad. Extremely sick.

By 1965, the pedophile Frank Houston, who was using the Christian ministry as a cloak for his pedophile activities, was now way too far in to go back. Frank had to continue his pretence and act as a Christian pastor until the bitter end.

By 1977, when Frank moved his family to Sydney, Australia from Wellington, New Zealand, he was a criminal pedophile on the run.

In Sydney, Frank shared with everyone that God gave him a vision of the souls of Sydney like wheat-fields swaying in the breeze ripe for harvest. The souls of men waiting for the Christian evangelist Frank Houston.

It wasn’t the souls of men he had in mind. I believe by conjecture that his purpose for going to Sydney was four-fold.

Firstly to escape the heat of protests to police about his pedophilia attacks on little boys and young males in New Zealand in the 1960s and 1970s.

Secondly, Frank chose Darlinghurst because he thought he’d fit in well there unnoticed amongst all the gays and deviancy there.

Thirdly, Frank knew that in Darlinghurst he could visit gay brothels where young males were available, When he couldn’t find fresh victims. I’m truly sorry to put it this way but lesbians and homosexuals have a term for it: “fresh meat”. In fact, to many homosexuals and lesbians, it’s the thrill of the chase and the challenge of initiating the uninitiated, that really turns them on.

Many heterosexual males also enjoy “the thrill of the chase”. This is a sad aspect of the fallen human condition.

The fourth reason Frank chose Darlinghurst was because he was already under attack from the conservative and wise Australian Assemblies of God establishment who’d heard Frank Houston had committed pedophile offences in New Zealand from the Executive of the New Zealand AOG and they didn’t want a deviate pedophile pastor in their midst. So they excluded him.

Undeterred the criminal pedophile Frank Houston chose a Sydney suburb where there was no AOG Church. Frank distanced himself from his attackers and accused them of being territorial and jealous. I heard him talk like this in the 1980s at CLC Darlinghurst about the AOG establishment in Australia.

In fact, in the pedophile Frank Houston’s territory anyone who questioned him about his authority and leadership, and especially about pedophile allegations, was swiftly and aggressively shown the door.

This modus operandi had been adopted throughout his life by his son Pastor Brian Houston. Any dissenters at Hillsong are quickly shown the door. At Hillsong there’s an “Us and Them” mentality, which is a very immature psychological paradigm to conduct life.

By 1980, Frank Houston was now under incredible attack. The prophet Pastor Philip Powell was out to expose the pedophile Frank Houston to the world. He’d been hounding him since the late 1970s. In the 1980s he really turned up the temperature of his attacks.

The pedophile Frank Houston’s response was to go all out and build as big a defence fortress as possible.

Frank decided “to grow” Christian Life Centre (CLC) Darlinghurst into a mega-church.

The pedophile Frank Houston shared with the congregation at CLC Darlinghurst that he had a vision for over 100 churches, all connected to CLC Darlinghurst.

He went all out to raise up as many young men as possible as preachers and evangelists. Frank knew that the more young men who believed in him, the more they’d defend him. And this was the case.

Gary Canham- now a pastor in Victoria, Sean Stanton- now on the ACC Executive and a pastor in the ACT, Australia, Trevor King, Geoff Bullock, Peter Laughton- who was seriously sexually abused by the pedophile and homosexual Frank Houston in his early 20s in the early 1980s, his son Brian- current Head of Hillsong International, Terry Appel- now a pastor in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Paul de Jong- Head Pastor of Life Church, Auckland, New Zealand, Tony Venn-Brown, Pat Mesiti- Tony Venn-Brown’s assistant, Laurie Murphy- pastor of Hillsong Glebe Outreach Church, and a friend of mine since 1981, Phil Thwaites and many others. These young men were all known at CLC Darlinghurst as “The Bishop’s Boys”.

“Pastor” Brian Houston. Current CEO of Hillsong International  The pedophile Frank Houston’s only church-going son. Almost certainly sexually abused by his pedophile dad as a boy in the 1960s. Protected his dad from criminal charges and prison. Recently charges with criminal pedophile protection charges as recommended by the Australian Royal Commission for not concealing a pedophile. That is, his old, extremely corrupt dad, the criminal pedophile Frank Houston.

Trevor King. Very talented musician. Frank Houston’s Music Director at CLC Darlinghurst. One of “The Bishops Boys”.

“Doctor” Phil Pringle founder and head pastor of C3 Global Church based in Sydney, Australia. 500 churches globally. Regarded Frank Houston as his spiritual father. Close friend of Brian Houston.

Naughty “Pastor” Pat Mesiti. Renowned for serial adultery, including having sex with prostitutes on a Hillsong credit card while a very famous Hillsong Youth Alive evangelist. Frank and Brian Houston taught him well.

Gay rights boys. Former Hillsong pastor and evangelist Tony Venn-Brown and gay pal.

Former famous Hillsong Youth Evangelist. One of “The Bishop’s Boys”. Pat Mesiti’s mentor. Now as camp as a row of tents.

Geoff Bullock. Famous Christian singer and musician. More a “Brian’s Boy” but he was one of “The Bishop’s Boys”. Brian later trashed Geoff.

The likeable Pastor Terry Appel. Brickie turned the Lord’s soldier. Head deacon at CLC Darlinghurst. A long-time AoG/ ACC pastor on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Paul and Maree de Jong. Head pastors of Life Church Auckland. Paul was one of the pedophile Frank Houston’s favourite “Bishop’s Boys”.  I’m not implying Paul was sexually abused by Frank Houston. I’m not aware of anyone else in leadership at CLC Darlinghurst who was sexually abused by the pedophile and homosexual Frank Houston apart from Peter Laughton. Dave Sayers was homosexually abused by Frank Houston in two incidents.

The pedophile “Pastor” Frank Houston, Brian’s dad. Lifelong secret pedophile and homosexual. Eyes as black as Hades.

The creation of a religious monster:

Out of hatred for humanity, hatred of himself and hatred towards Almighty God, the pedophile Frank Houston decided to go all out and create a monster, a ghoulish organisation from Hell, a machination of Satanic majesty, to torment and harass mankind. That is a full-on large Christian organisation within which he could hide, defend himself in, and still continue his homosexual pedophile past-times. This is the origins of Hillsong Global Church. The founder, a lifelong secret pedophile on the run from New Zealand police, coming to Australia to escape and building a major Christian church as a defence mechanism to avoid arrest.

Building Hillsong Church was a Rock Spider pedophile ploy by Frank Houston to build as large a defensive nest as possible for his own protection.

A pedophile is the ultimate pathological narcissist, who will only act for himself. He has no genuine feelings for other people. No genuine feelings for his own family. No genuine feelings for his sons. No genuine feelings for his daughters. No genuine feelings for his faithful and trusting wife.

We can see how Frank Houston’s seed or spawn, so-called “Pastor” Brian Houston, is similarly pathological in his scorn for mankind.

A mark of a Christian pastor is that he’ll help the victims of this life- the downtrodden and dispossessed of the earth.

Hillsong do this in limited ways to make themselves look good and worthy, but, as I have shown many times, Hillsong church is just a cash-cow for the Houstons, their off-spring and the Hillsong pastors to milk. A Christian pyramid scheme whereby the currency is cash and the souls of men are traded with abandon and without control.

Hillsong, the juggernaut that the pedophile Frank Houston created when he birthed Hillsong, in liaison with Lucifer, is getting more and more out-of-control each day.

One day it will fall apart and collapse.

In fact, both Satan and Frank Houston want it to.

The more carnage and destruction of human souls, the better.

At heart a pedophile is a coward who will scurry away into a dark corner if they feel they may be found out.

A pedophile also has a large range of ploys and strategies to keep their victims quiet, ranging from threats of violence to statements like what boy victim AHA said Frank Houston said it him.

One of the things Frank Houston said to boy victim AHA was “Even if you tell people, they won’t believe you because I’m a famous evangelist. Who would they believe? You or me?”.

This is the criminal mind of a pedophile talking. They’re talking from within their den or nest which has layers and layers of well thought out decoys, shields, cob-webs and protection.

The Western Australian slang word for pedophiles is rock spider.

Rock spider. Jail name for pedophile. Origin: Western Australia jail slang.

The reason for the name rock-spider is that pedophiles like little kids cracks. Many pedophiles do lots of darker things than to touch children. Pedophiles are child rapists and amongst the worst human beings ever on the planet.

That’s why pedophiles are at the bottom of the jail hierarchy and inmates persecute and torment them. Even felons know that pedophiles are the low of the low.

By 1965, Frank Houston was way too far into his cover as a Christian pastor to change his cover and disguise.

From the 1940s, Frank Houston had embarked on a really dark and demonic series of very serious assaults on little boys and teen males.

In rapid succession in the 1940s to 1970s, the pedophile Frank Houston sexually abused over 400 little boys and young teens. Maybe over 1000. Maybe 2000 plus.

This is a projection of mine based on an enormous body of evidence I’ve collected on Frank Houston. Everything is published on this site except private conversations, mainly by email, with various victims, their supporters and others. But there is little I know that will help the reader understand Frank Houston, Brian Houston and the Hillsong organisation that I haven’t shared on this site.

The known victims of this out-of-control pedophile spree conducted by the pedophile Frank Houston in the 1940s to 1970s included at least 17 boys aged 7 to 12.

There were at least six known boy victims when Frank was pastor at Lower Hutt AOG.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Frank Houston sexually abused WNZ1 (my code name) and he sexually abused at least two other boys at a home bible group he was leading in another Wellington suburb.

The Bible study was being held in WNZ1’s parent’s home. The boys were aged about 11. He snuck down the corridor into WNZ1’s bedroom, pretending be going to use the bathroom, and sexually abused him in his childhood bed.

In 1971 and 1972, the pedophile Frank Houston sexually abused SA1 (my code name) and at least two to three other little boys at Klemzeig Assemblies of God (AoG) Youth Camps at Cudlee Creek near Adelaide South Australia.

SA1 wrote in his statement to the Australian Royal Commission into Child Abuse that the epicentre of the sexual abuse of little boys was the male toilet block.

SA1 saw the pedophile Frank Houston come out of the toilet block with another boy. The pedophile Frank Houston had an erection.

It is possible there were numerous little boys sexually abused by Frank Houston at these AOG Youth Camps at Cudlee Creek in 1971 and 1972.

In the early 1970s, Frank sexually abused teen ANZ1 (my code name) at a hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand. He lured him there on the pretext of helping ANZ1 with some problems. Then he sexually abused him. ANZ1 later suicided because of the negative impact of this sexual abuse by the pedophile Frank Houston on his life.

In the 1970s, Frank Houston sexually abused Peter Fowler who was aged 15, while head pastor at Lower Hutt AOG and head of the New Zealand AOG. This abuse occurred in a motel room. I don’t know how he got Peter there. Frank would have thought of a way to lure him there.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s the pedophile Frank Houston sexually abused Royal Commission boy victim AHA (Brett Sengstock) at Brett’s parent’s apartment in Coogee Beach Sydney. Frank was an honoured guest of Brett’ss parents. A famous evangelist who they felt privileged to host.

These are only the victims we know about. The tip of the iceberg. From Frank Houston’s known assaults and behaviour, I believe there are a lot more victims. Probably over 400. Maybe over 1000. May 200 plus. Plus there are thousands of victims of masked homosexual and masked pedophile behaviour by the pedophile and homosexual Frank Houston.

Even the pedophile Frank Houston himself said to his son Brian, after he admitted in 1999 to having committed pedophile crimes, “I was very active at the time”. He was referring to the 1960s and 1970s.

Very active. How active? We may never know.

As Pastor Brian Houston said to the Sydney media, after he appeared at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, “We may never know the number of victims”.

The average pedophile abuses 250 children in their lifetime. Staggering. Sad. Extremely sick.

By 1965, the pedophile Frank Houston, who was using the Christian ministry as a cloak for his pedophile activities, was now way too far in to go back. Frank had to continue his pretence and act as a Christian pastor until the bitter end.

By 1977, when Frank moved his family to Sydney, Australia from Wellington, New Zealand, he was a criminal pedophile on the run.

In Sydney, Frank shared with everyone that God gave him a vision of the souls of Sydney like wheat-fields swaying in the breeze ripe for harvest. The souls of men waiting for the Christian evangelist Frank Houston.

It wasn’t the souls of men he had in mind. I believe by conjecture that his purpose for going to Sydney was four-fold.

Firstly to escape the heat of protests to police about his pedophilia attacks on little boys and young males in New Zealand in the 1960s and 1970s.

Secondly, Frank chose Darlinghurst because he thought he’d fit in well there unnoticed amongst all the gays and deviancy there.

Thirdly, Frank knew that in Darlinghurst he could visit gay brothels where young males were available, When he couldn’t find fresh victims. I’m truly sorry to put it this way but lesbians and homosexuals have a term for it: “fresh meat”. In fact, to many homosexuals and lesbians, it’s the thrill of the chase and the challenge of initiating the uninitiated, that really turns them on.

Many heterosexual males also enjoy “the thrill of the chase”. This is a sad aspect of the fallen human condition.

The fourth reason Frank chose Darlinghurst was because he was already under attack from the conservative and wise Australian Assemblies of God establishment who’d heard Frank Houston had committed pedophile offences in New Zealand from the Executive of the New Zealand AOG and they didn’t want a deviate pedophile pastor in their midst. So they excluded him.

Undeterred the criminal pedophile Frank Houston chose a Sydney suburb where there was no AOG Church. Frank distanced himself from his attackers and accused them of being territorial and jealous. I heard him talk like this in the 1980s at CLC Darlinghurst about the AOG establishment in Australia.

In fact, in the pedophile Frank Houston’s territory anyone who questioned him about his authority and leadership, and especially about pedophile allegation, was swiftly and aggressively shown the door.

This modus operandi had been adopted throughout his life by his son Pastor Brian Houston. Any dissenters at Hillsong are quickly shown the door. At Hillsong there’s an “Us and them” mentality, which is a very immature psychological attitude to have in life.

By 1980, Frank Houston was now under incredible attack. The prophet Pastor Philip Powell was out to expose the pedophile Frank Houston to the world. He’d been hounding him since the late 1970s. In the 1980s he really turned up the temperature of his attacks.

The pedophile Frank Houston’s response was to go all out and build as big a defence fortress as possible.

Frank decided “to grow” Christian Life Centre (CLC) Darlinghurst into a mega-church.

The pedophile Frank Houston shared with the congregation at CLC Darlinghurst that he had a vision for over 100 churches, all connected to CLC Darlinghurst.

He went all out to raise up as many young men as possible as preachers and evangelists. Frank knew that the more young men who believed in him, the more they’d defend him. And this was the case.

Gary Canham- now a pastor in Victoria, Sean Stanton- now on the ACC Executive and a pastor in the ACT, Australia, Trevor King, Geoff Bullock, Peter Laughton- who was seriously sexually abused by the pedophile and homosexual Frank Houston in his early 20s in the early 1980s, his son Brian- current Head of Hillsong International, Terry Appel- now a pastor in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Paul de Jong- Head Pastor of Life Church, Auckland, New Zealand, Tony Venn-Brown, Pat Mesiti- Tony Venn-Brown’s assistant, Laurie Murphy- pastor of Hillsong Glebe Outreach Church, and a friend of mine since 1981, Phil Thwaites and many others. “Pastor” Brian Houston. Current CEO of Hillsong International  The pedophile Frank Houston’s only church-going son. Almost certainly sexually abused by his pedophile dad as a lad in the 1960s. Protected his dad from criminal charges and prison. Awaiting criminal charges recommended by the Australian Royal Commission for not reporting and harbouring a pedophile, his old extremely corrupt dad, the criminal pedophile Frank Houston.

Trevor King. Very talented musician. Frank Houston’s Music Director at CLC Darlinghurst. One of “The Bishops Boys”.

Naughty “Pastor” Pat Mesiti. Renowned for serial adultery, including having sex with prostitutes on a Hillsong credit card while a very famous Hillsong Youth Alive evangelist. Frank and Brian Houston taught him well.

Gay rights boys. Former Hillsong pastor and evangelist Tony Venn-Brown and gay pal.

Former famous Hillsong Youth Evangelist. One of “The Bishop’s Boys”. Pat Mesiti’s mentor. Now as camp as a row of tents.

Geoff Bullock. Famous Christian singer and musician. More a “Brian’s Boy” but he was one of “The Bishop’s Boys”. Brian later trashed Geoff.

Phil Pringle. CEO of C3 International. Now a Doctor. Regarded the pedophile Frank Houston as his spiritual father.

The likeable Pastor Terry Appel. Brickie turned the Lord’s soldier. Head deacon at CLC Darlinghurst. A long-time AoG/ ACC pastor on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Paul and Maree de Jong. Head pastors of Life Church Auckland. Paul was one of the pedophile Frank Houston’s favourite “Bishop’s Boys”.  I’m not implying Paul was sexually abused by Frank Houston. I’m not aware of anyone else in leadership at CLC Darlinghurst who was sexually abused by the pedophile and homosexual Frank Houston apart from Peter Laughton. Dave Sayers and I were homosexually abused by Frank Houston in a low-level way in two separate incidents, but it was still ugly and still criminal assault and criminal abuse.

The pedophile “Pastor” Frank Houston, Brian’s dad. Lifelong secret pedophile and homosexual. Eyes as black as Hades.

The creation of a religious monster:

Out of hatred for humanity, hatred of himself and hatred towards Almighty God, the pedophile Frank Houston decided to go all out and create a monster, a ghoulish organisation from hell, a machination of satanic majesty, to torment and harass mankind. That is a full-on large Christian organisation within which he could hide, defend himself in, and still continue his homosexual pedophile past-times.

This was also a rock-spider pedophile ploy to build as large a defensive nest as possible for his own protection.

A pedophile is the ultimate pathological narcissist, who will only act for himself. He has no genuine feelings for other people. No genuine feelings for his own family. No genuine feelings for his sons. No genuine feelings for his daughters. No genuine feelings for his faithful and trusting wife.

We can see how Frank Houston’s seed or spawn, so-called “Pastor” Brian Houston, is similarly pathological in his scorn for mankind.

A mark of a Christian pastor is that he’ll help the victims of life, the downtrodden and dispossessed of the earth.

Hillsong do this in limited ways to make themselves look good and worthy, but, as I have shown many times, Hillsong church is just a cash-cow for the Houstons, their off-spring and the Hillsong pastors to milk. A Christian pyramid scheme whereby the currency is cash and the souls of men are traded with abandon and without control.

In fact the juggernaut the pedophile Frank Houston created when he birthed Hillsong, in liaison with Lucifer, is getting more and more out-of-control each day.

One day it will fall apart and collapse.

In fact both Satan and Frank Houston want it to.

The most prominent and famous leader in Australian and New Zealand Assemblies of God circles in the 50 years from 1960 to 2010. was without doubt Brian Houston’s father, Frank Houston. Frank Houston was the founder of Hillsong Church based in Sydney, Australia in 1977.

The Australian Assemblies of God is now called the Australian Christian Churches.

Pastor Frank Houston founded the Hillsong movement in Double Bay, Sydney in 1977. It was called Eastern Suburbs Christian Life Centre in those days.

Frank Houston died in Sydney in November 2004 at the age of 82.

William Francis “Frank” Houston  was born on 22 April 1922 in Whanganui, New Zealand. He died on 8 November 2004, Sydney, Australia.

Frank Houston commenced ministry training as a Salvation Army officer shortly after turning 18. He married Hazel and they had five children. The couple transferred their allegiance to the Baptist church, and later to the Assemblies of God in New Zealand.

Now Frank Houston is famous for all the wrong reasons and is an albatross around his son Brian’s neck.

I have established beyond doubt that Rev William Francis “Frank Houston” committed pedophile acts on young boys mainly aged 7 to 12, homosexual abuse acts on older teen males, and masked homosexual acts on males over 18, throughout his whole life-time.

There are probably over 400 boy victims who will be aged in their 50s and 60s now. Maybe some older too.

I have established evidence of pedophile activity from the 1940s, when Frank Houston was in his 20s, to 1975, when he was 53 years old.

After relocating from Lower Hutt, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia he sexually abused Peter Lawton his young worship leader at Christian Life Centre, by then based in Darlinghurts.  Frank who was in his late 50s in the early 1980s when he was pastoring Christian Life Centre Sydney and becoming prominent in Australia.

It is understood that the old guard of the Pentecostal movement in Australia didn’t want him in Australia. It is thought they were tipped off by their New Zealand counterparts about the six Lower Hutt boys who were abused in the 1960s by Frank Houston at Lower Hutt AOG.

I was a leading lay pastor and builder at Christian Life Centre in Darlinghurst through most of the 1980s. Frank Houston was so cunning at concealing his pedophilia that I didn’t find him out, even though I knew allegations since the late 1970s.

Why I ever got associated with the Houston’s I don’t know.  Maybe it was for such a time as this.

Frank the homosexual

Although he fathered five children, Frank Houston was not sexually interested in women.

I have verified 17 mainly boy victims of Frank Houston. 15 boys and two male teens.

There are articles on this site about these sad events, including the stories of four boy victims, one in Auckland, New Zealand, who suicided after Frank Houston interfered with him. 

I believe from the known evidence that there were over 400 boy victims. If one includes the older male victims and masked homosexual contacts there could be over a thousand.

Even Frank Houston’s son Brian, of Hillsong fame, said to the Australian media after the recent Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in October 2014 the following.

When asked how many victims of his father there were he replied, “We may never know how many”.

Paul de Jong of Life Church, Auckland, had Frank Houston’s corrupt hands on his head untold times from when he was a little boy at Lower Hutt AOG to when he left Hillsong in the 1990s to found a Hillsong type church in Auckland, New Zealand.

Frank Houston imparted unclean counterfeit spiritual energy into him including demons, from his pedophile hands and body.

Frank Houston regarded Paul de Jong as a favourite spiritual son. He was always prophesying great things over him.

Paul de Jong needs massive deliverance from the soil and demons Frank Houston has cast on his soul.

“Pastor” Robert Fergusson. Senior Hillsong pastor. Kind of Hillsong’s “Professor of Theology” but not highly educated at a tertiary level. Empowers Brian in his lies, moral corruption and manipulations.

Robert Ferguson, the long-time back-up man at Hillsong Church, an elder and a senior pastor, was brought over from England by Frank Houston.

Similarly Frank Houston laid his pedophile hands on him and prophesied over him many times.

Like Paul de Jong and everyone else who was under Frank’s leadership and got laying on of hands and prophecies from Frank Houston, they all need massive deliverance from the soil and demons Frank Houston has cast on their souls.

I’ve watched one Hillsong service ever on-line and that was in October after the Royal Commission.

Joel A’Bell led the service, his wife, who he repeatedly complimented and called his best friend, which is nice, took the offering talk and Brian Houston preached.

I knew most of these men in the 1980s and 1900s, except John McMartin, Keith Ainge, George and Nabi Saleh.

It’s not their fault. They didn’t know about Frank’s pedophilia until 1999.

But they do need deliverance and prayer from what Frank imparted to them.

I never let Frank lay hands on me. I was never sure about Frank Houston after I heard in 1977 that he’d molested the six Lower Hutt AOG boys in the 1960s and there was a pay-out.

I don’t let anyone lay hands on me. In the late 1970s the Holy Spirit showed me to be very careful spiritually.

Once and only once, I went to a Roman Catholic Charismatic meeting. I was sceptical about the Church of Rome and its infiltration of the Charismatic Renewal. I’m sorry folks but please put the Roman Catholic Charismatic Movement in the Cult and Deception Bin. It’s all mother mary idols, idols of departed saints, Roman Catholic deceptions, icons and blasphemies poured into a broth of counterfeit Holy Spirit and poured on mankind. At the meeting I sensed clouds of demons whirling through the spiritual realm and clouds of Roman Catholic darkness.

At this meeting a lady came over to me with really weird eyes and wanted to pray for me. I said no. But she insisted. I said, and I was only 19, “Back off lady, you’re not praying for me”.

The lady with the occult eyes was very offended. But I didn’t care. It was her or me, and unlike Bobby Houston, I didn’t want what she’s having.

Even at the tender age of 19 I could see the demons riding on her soul.

At the Royal Commission into the Mt Erebus crash, New Zealand’s worst airline disaster in 1989,  the New Zealand Royal Commissioner Justice Peter McMahon in tabling his submissions on the Mt Erebus crash called Air New Zealand’s cover ups after the crash, “an orchestrated litany of lies”.

Air New Zealand Flight TE-901, was a scheduled Air New Zealand Antarctic sightseeing flight that operated between 1977 and 1979. The flight left Auckland Airport in the morning and spent a few hours flying over the Antarctic continent, before returning to Auckland in the evening via Christchurch.

On 28 November 1979, the fourteenth flight of TE-901, a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30, collided with Mount Erebus on Ross Island, Antarctica, killing all 237 passengers and 20 crew on board.

The accident is commonly known as the Mount Erebus disaster.

The initial investigation concluded the accident was caused by pilot error but public outcry led to the establishment of a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the crash.

The Commission, presided over by Justice Peter Mahon, concluded that the accident was caused by a correction made to the coordinates of the flight path the night before the disaster, coupled with a failure to inform the flight crew of the change, with the result that the aircraft, instead of being directed by computer down McMurdo Sound (as the crew assumed), was re-routed into the path of Mount Erebus.

In Justice Mahon’s report, he accused Air New Zealand of presenting ‘an orchestrated litany of lies’ and this charge in the end led to changes in senior management at the airline. The accident remains New Zealand’s deadliest peacetime disaster.

At the Australian Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Sydney last October it seemed like Brian, his associate pastors and George had got together and agreed on a plan about what to say at the Commission.

It seemed like ‘an orchestrated litany of lies’.

Unfortunately Brian couldn’t remember the script and got badly lost in the witness seat.

I am ashamed to say that I am from the same country as Frank Houston, New Zealand.

New Zealand is a sincere country, a generally moral country and a hard-working country. It was when I lived there 40 to 64 years ago.

Yet from the verdant soil of this country of 40 million sheep and 4 million humans of many types and colours, although it was mainly White Europeans and Maori in the 1920s to 1960s, came an errant corrupt pedophile who decided in his 20s to use the woolly disguise of a minister of the holy gospel to fulfil his lusts and desires.

The Houston dynasty of devils through the laying on of hands on other subservient ministries has spawned a cart-load of monkey pastors. Spiritually corrupt pastors such as the world hasn’t seen, or at least not seen often.

I know of no more corrupt Pentecostal pastor since the blessed day of Pentecost than this errant devil pastor Frank Houston.

Not only was this man Frank Houston a New Zealander, even worse he was born in the same city as me, Whanganui.

Whanganui is a former port town lying sleepily on the banks of the Whanganui River. It’s a pretty nondescript town. It’s not as though you’d drive out of your way to visit there. The ski fields at Mount Ruapehu to the north hold far more attraction. Lost a few friends there. There’s always something amazing in a town that one hasn’t heard of. I don’t think Frank Houston would be honoured with the keys of the city.

There is a long list of Assemblies of God pastors in Australia and New Zealand who have been found to be morally and spiritually corrupt.

In the 1970s there were two Assemblies of God pastors in New Zealand vying for prominence. One was Frank Houston in the south of the North Island in Lower Hutt, part of Greater Wellington, New Zealand’s capital.

In the more prosperous and developing north in Auckland was Pastor Neville Johnson.

Frank Houston, although a secret pedophile from at least 1960, and probably 1940 or earlier, all through the 1960s and 1970s he was abusing little boys. Victim AHA who testified at the Royal Commission was horribly abused for five long years from the late 1960s to the early 1970s at his home in Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia from the tender age of a mere 7 years old to 12 years old. Victim SA1 my code name) at an AOG camp in Cuddly Creek, Adelaide at the Klemzig AOG camp located there. The abuse occurred in the bunk-room and showers. SA1 says other boys were abused there. I’d like to hear from them and any other victims anywhere in the world.

At least 6 boys aged about 10 were sexually abused by Frank Houston while he was head pastor at Lower Hutt AOG in the 1960s.

Frank Houston abused boy victim WNZ1 at a bible study in his parents home a few times. Frank Houston pretended to go to the toilet and sneaked in to WNZ1’s bedroom and abused him.

In fact, Frank Houston was so into pedophilia at this period, so rampant, that he commented to his son Brian, “yes I was very active at the time”. Meaning active as a pedophile in the era he abused AHA. My research verifies that the 1960s to 1970s, when Frank was in his 40s to 50s, was his most active period as a peophile.

This may have been related to availability and confidence.

In 1983, Brian Houston, Frank’s younger son, one of five children, moved to Western Sydney.

In the early 1990s, Brian set about building the current building in Baulkham Hills. Until 2019 it was the Hillsong headquarters. In 2019, Brian bought several floors of a building in New York City which is the current Hillsong international headquarters.

I can’t recall the chronology, but the outcome was that Geoff and Besse got together, as did Jonathan and Dianne. All good. Life’s a beach.

David Johnson was a pastor and very talented classical violinist and orchestra conductor, Frank brought out from California.

David was brought out to set up the IICM church bible college. The full name was International Institute for Creative Ministries.

Here was a talent if honoured and used properly could do great things.

I think Frank was threatened by David and when David tried to question things to improve them, Frank cast him off.

After being dismissed by Frank, Rev Gordon Moyes of the mega Wesley Methodist Church snapped him up. Wesley Methodist has the biggest welfare system in the Southern Hemisphere and a Bible College.

This is one of the main reasons I left CLC. I didn’t like Frank’s hatchet job on Ian Carlisle, who was struggling and his own son in law. When Frank did a severe hatchet job on David Johnson that was it for me.

David later returned to California.

Michael Driscoll went back on heroin and died in Ireland a long time back. Suicide.

Michael was in Ireland trying to reconnect with his Irish, poetic and musical roots.

Michael and Brett Whiteley were artistic soul-mates, and along with Wendy Whiteley, Brett’s wife, were heroin buddies.

Brett Whiteley was one of Australia’s greatest modern painters in the 1969s to 1980s. He died from a heroin overdose, alone in a motel in a Southern part of Sydney.

Michael became a Christian in 1981 through the influence of Jonathan Page and others.

Michael tried to convert Brett Whiteley but was unsuccessful.

Michael wrote a poetry book “Desert Rose”, with poems on the Australian Outback themes and Brett illustrated it.

Managing Michael Driscoll, when he was a home fellowship leader under my leadership, required the patience of Job and the love of Almighty God in big doses.

It wasn’t Michael’s fault. He came from a privileged background, was very complex, had a sense of entitlement, was extremely talented musically, in poetry and to a lesser degree in painting, and was in recovery from heroin abuse.

Michael was very zealous for God and led a lot of people, who others couldn’t reach, to Christ.

Michael was a bit of a Christian pied piper and had an eclectic following.

He was big on casting out of demons for a time. A lot of people coming off heavy stuff needed it.

Michael and his band, including Rick Jelliffe and Peter Fitz, put out a Christian Album in 1981. I can’t remember the name of the album but I think it had a sketch by Brett Whitely? on the front cover. Was it “Reel to Real”?

I could write a whole article on Michael and maybe I should. I’d probably need Rick Jelliffe’s help.

Michael had a good heart despite his complexities, which is normal for an artist of his talent. I handled Michael patiently and we had some great times in the home fellowships etc.

Michael found it hard to relate to Frank and his ways. Maybe he sensed something wasn’t right.

 

Bob Harris

 

Bob Harris was another talented artist who became a Christian in the early 1980s. In this case, a published poet who won awards. He died in 1994. Heart issues.

Michael and Bob were both home fellowship leaders under my leadership in the early 1980s.

I liked it when T.L. Osbourne said at Darlinghurst in about 1984, we should call CLC “Christian Love Centre”.

Gary was Frank’s business manager at CLC Darlinghurst. He was then an AOG missionary in Eastern Europe sent out by Frank.

Gary returned to Australia to pastor.

Always enthusiastic, very polite and kind-hearted. One of nature’s gentlemen. Like the hair-style Gary.

Jonathan Wilson’s first marriage fell over spectacularly in front of everyone in the 1990s. They married young and there were the usual problems.

Quite quickly soon after, Jonathan got entangled in a complex love quadrangle (new term) involving Jonathon, his daughter Besse and Dianne and Geoff, who were married.

I can’t recall the chronology, but the outcome was that Geoff and Besse got together, as did Jonathan and Dianne. All good. Life’s a beach.

David Johnson was a pastor and very talented classical violinist and orchestra conductor, Frank brought out from California.

David was brought out to set up the IICM church bible college. The full name was International Institute for Creative Ministries.

Here was a talent if honoured and used properly could do great things.

I think Frank was threatened by David and when David tried to question things to improve them, Frank cast him off.

After being dismissed by Frank, Rev Gordon Moyes of the mega Wesley Methodist Church snapped him up. Wesley Methodist has the biggest welfare system in the Southern Hemisphere and a Bible College.

This is one of the main reasons I left CLC. I didn’t like Frank’s hatchet job on Ian Carlisle, who was struggling and his own son in law. When Frank did a severe hatchet job on David Johnson that was it for me.

David later returned to California.

Steve Coleman was one of the early CLC musicians who sang solos and played the guitar.

Steve liked singing Jackson Brown’s song, “I’ll be your handyman”.

Steve Coleman was convicted for pedophile acts against young girls.

 

Michael Driscoll

Michael Driscoll went back on heroin and died in Ireland a long time back. Suicide.

Michael was in Ireland trying to reconnect with his Irish, poetic and musical roots.

Michael and Brett Whiteley were artistic soul-mates, and along with Wendy Whiteley, Brett’s wife, were heroin buddies.

Brett Whiteley was one of Australia’s greatest modern painters in the 1969s to 1980s. He died from a heroin overdose, alone in a motel in a Southern part of Sydney.

Michael became a Christian in 1981 through the influence of Jonathan Page and others.

Michael tried to convert Brett Whiteley but was unsuccessful.

Michael wrote a poetry book “Desert Rose”, with poems on the Australian Outback themes and Brett illustrated it.

Managing Michael Driscoll, when he was a home fellowship leader under my leadership, required the patience of Job and the love of Almighty God in big doses.

It wasn’t Michael’s fault. He came from a privileged background, was very complex, had a sense of entitlement, was extremely talented musically, in poetry and to a lesser degree in painting, and was in recovery from heroin abuse.

Michael was very zealous for God and led a lot of people, who others couldn’t reach, to Christ.

Michael was a bit of a Christian pied piper and had an eclectic following.

He was big on casting out of demons for a time. A lot of people coming off heavy stuff needed it.

Michael and his band, including Rick Jelliffe and Peter Fitz, put out a Christian Album in 1981. I can’t remember the name of the album but I think it had a sketch by Brett Whitely? on the front cover. Was it “Reel to Real”?

I could write a whole article on Michael and maybe I should. I’d probably need Rick Jelliffe’s help.

Michael had a good heart despite his complexities, which is normal for an artist of his talent. I handled Michael patiently and we had some great times in the home fellowships etc.

Michael found it hard to relate to Frank and his ways. Maybe he sensed something wasn’t right.

 

Bob Harris

 

Bob Harris was another talented artist who became a Christian in the early 1980s. In this case, a published poet who won awards. He died in 1994. Heart issues.

Michael and Bob were both home fellowship leaders under my leadership in the early 1980s.

Tony left his wife and children and went gay.

I read somewhere he believes the Church will eventually accept gay marriage and the right to be gay at some time in the future.

Pastor Frank Houston was the King and the Bishop at Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst in the 1980s and then at Waterloo from the late 1980s to 1998/99 when he retired.

Frank Houston. “I will never retire. I will die in the saddle”.

It eventuated that rather than being retired he was fired, and by his own son, now a King and Bishop in his own right.

Frank Houston’s offence: lifelong covert pedophilia and homosexuality while a prominent Assemblies of God clergy.

The life of Brian. My name isn’t Brian any more. I’m St Brain of the Holy Mount in Baulkham Hills, Sydney, Australia. Back in the day, my dad Frank was called the “Bishop”. Dad has been fired. I’m now far greater than Frank. I’m now His Eminence Pope Brain of Hillsong.

Christian Life Centre, Darlinghurst was the first of many name changes of the current entity, ‘Hillsong City Campus’.

When we look at Christian Life Centre, Sydney, in the 1980s and Pastor Frank Houston’s pedophilia and homosexuality, it’s important to be objective.

Although Frank Houston did an unimaginable number of horrific deeds to innocent children, a lot of good has come out of CLC Darlinghurst.

The fruit of Frank’s life wasn’t all bad.

Pastor Frank Houston. “Friends, I want to let you into a secret today. Despite my thing about boys which was pretty bad, I’m not all bad. I’m one per cent good”.

Hillsong Church educates its congregation about gay terminology and gay slang

Since Hillsong Church is a gay tolerant and gay empowering church it needs to educate its young people, children and congregation about gayness, gay terminology and gay slang to enable its congregants to be more sensitive and respectful towards gays and for them to be more switched on to gay’s needs and requirements in life.

 

 

“Pastor” Brian Houston. Gay lover. The world’s most famous gay-loving Pentecostal pastor.

 

Hillsong’s congregants in Australia as Australians should know Australian gay terminology and gay slang.

Recently an environmental campaigner colleague used the term ‘koala bear’ to describe the Australian marsupial the Koala.

I have Koalas on my farm in Bellingen where I live. Koalas live in Australian native gum trees and eat Australian native foliage which consists of mainly gum tree leaves.

The gum tree leaves are high in sap and toxins and low in nutrients. The combined effects of eating gum tree leaves is that the Koala is made sleepy by the toxins and it has to eat a lot of gum tree leaves each day because they are low in nutrients. So Koalas spend 90 per cent of their time eating.

So ends a brief brief discourse on Koalas eating habits.

 

 

I hadn’t heard the term ‘Koala Bear’ since I was a child in New Zealand. Its a term of endearment.

I googled the term ‘Koala Bear’ and one of the meanings relates to the gay scene.

Since Hillsong is embracing gayness and gay marriage, especially in locations like Hillsong New York City and Hillsong Los Angeles, I think its important that Hillsong’s young people, children and congregation are educated about gay terminology and gay slang.

 

Gay terminology

In gay slang a ‘bear’ is a big often hairy confident gay man.

If a big hairy confident gay man comes into Hillsong Church, say dressed with interesting leather clothing, all the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should all say, “Hello Mr Gay Bear”.

If that big hairy confident gay man is an Australian then the correct gay term for that man is a ‘Koala Bear’.

All the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should welcome a big hairy confident Australian gay man when he enters Hillsong Church and  say, “Hello Mr Gay Koala Bear”.

These little polite details and gay cultural sensitivities are important to gay men.

 

If you’re gay you’re welcome at Hillsong

 

Bear Terms and Definitions

“Bear: A gay man that generally has one or more of the following traits; a hairy chest and body, a beard, wide shoulders, husky build, beefy, more masculine. The exact definition of what a bear look like varies from person to person. A defining quality of a bear is that they do not fit into contemporary gay culture, or the stereotypical gay image”.

Hillsong young people, children and congregation should also know that a big chubby gay man or a big chubby hairy gay man is called a “Big Bear”.

If a big chubby gay man or a big chubby hairy gay man enters Hillsong Church then all the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should welcome a big hairy confident gay man when he enters Hillsong Church and say, “Hello Mr Gay Big Bear”.

An African American or Caribbean black man is called a ‘Black Bear’.

An athletic gay bear with interests in contact sports is called a ‘Bruin’. Hillsong members please note- Not a ‘Brian’. Brian Houston is not ‘a Bruin’ because he has a paunch. The devil here is in the detail.

Brian Houston used to be a ‘Bruin’ when he was younger, although I’m not sure if Brian was gay then or a just the son of a gay or just a gay lover. Brian used to be able to outrun all his pastors in the annual Hillsong fun run. Brian was at that time a Christian ‘Bruin’- as well as a Hillsong Brian.

There are many other gay terms relating to gay Bears. Once we as Christians open our hearts and lives to all things gay and to gay marriage there’s a whole new world of gayness and gay terminology out there to explore.

Here are some more ‘Bear’ gay terms.

Beef: A classic term for a ‘built’ guy.

Cave: A gathering place for bears to chat and hug.

I think this is the correct name to use for a Hillsong Church gay home bible study group.

“Fellow brethren gay bears- lets go into our cave and study the word of God”. Please don’t laugh at this thought or any of this. This is a serious topic and Hillsong congregants need to be sensitive to their fellow Christian gays at Hillsong Church.

Chaser: A gay man that finds big bears and/or chubbies attractive.

Cub: A younger bear, usually lacking a beard/full beard, may be shorter and/or lack other bear elements. Also refers to a younger bear that may be lacking experience and/or submissive.

Grr: Can be mean as a sign of affection, or to back off.

All the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should know these things. If a gay ‘Bear’ man goes “Grr” to a Hillsong young man it either means he fancies him or the young man has done something to offend him. The young man should say to ‘the gay Bear’ who made the grr sound: “Sir, I’m not familiar with gay lingo. Do you fancy me or have I offended you?”

Koala Bear: A bear with light body blond hair.

Leather Bear: A bear who is into the leather scene, and can be found wearing all sorts of interesting looking leather clothing and accessories.

Gaydar: The ability to tell if other people are gay. This skill can be developed by anyone who spends time around gay people, and/or who watches lots of gay movies (porno’s don’t count).

Hanky Code: A code system of different coloured hankies and other objects defining ones sexual interests.

Homophobia: Hate or fear of homosexuals and homosexuality.

Lesbian: A woman that is sexually attracted and/or has romantic feelings towards other women.

Lipstick Lesbian: A lesbian that likes to dress up more sterotypically femininely i.e. make up, long hair, always wears a dress.

Out: A term used to describe an individual that is openly gay/bi/les/queer.

Queeny: Used to describes a power hungry flamboyant bitch of a fag.

Queer: Referring to homosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transvestite, and transgendered persons.

Twink: The stereotypical figure of a gay male who has a slim build, shaved, youthful, and stylish/trendy.

Smurf: A short gay man. (Note: As a short gay man, myself, the webmaster doesn’t like this term.)

Son: Younger or less mature partner that goes after Daddies, and/or is submissive. The bear equivalent is a Cub, although cub does have other meanings.

Straight Acting: A famous gay classified add descriptor meaning that the gay person in question acts straight. Or rather simply does not act/appear blatantly gay or effeminate in speech or actions. This can mean hiding their sexual identify to the extremes of behaviour alterations, and/or it can simply mean they don’t look like they fit into the “stereotypical effeminate gay image”, and thus seem more straight than gay.

Since Hillsong Church is a gay tolerant and gay empowering church it needs to educate its young people, children and congregation about gayness, gay terminology and gay slang to enable its congregants to be more sensitive and respectful towards gays and for them to be more switched on to gay’s needs and requirements in life.

Hillsong’s congregants in Australia as Australians should know Australian gay terminology and gay slang.

Recently an environmental campaigner colleague used the term ‘koala bear’ to describe the Australian marsupial the Koala.

I have Koalas on my farm in Bellingen where I live. Koalas live in Australian native gum trees and eat Australian native foliage which consists of mainly gum tree leaves.

The gum tree leaves are high in sap and toxins and low in nutrients. The combined effects of eating gum tree leaves is that the Koala is made sleepy by the toxins and it has to eat a lot of gum tree leaves each day because they are low in nutrients. So Koalas spend 90 per cent of their time eating.

So ends a brief brief discourse on Koalas eating habits.

 

 

I hadn’t heard the term ‘Koala Bear’ since I was a child in New Zealand. Its a term of endearment.

I googled the term ‘Koala Bear’ and one of the meanings relates to the gay scene.

Since Hillsong is embracing gayness and gay marriage, especially in locations like Hillsong New York City and Hillsong Los Angeles, I think its important that Hillsong’s young people, children and congregation are educated about gay terminology and gay slang.

 

Gay terminology

In gay slang a ‘bear’ is a big often hairy confident gay man.

If a big hairy confident gay man comes into Hillsong Church, say dressed with interesting leather clothing, all the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should all say, “Hello Mr Gay Bear”.

If that big hairy confident gay man is an Australian then the correct gay term for that man is a ‘Koala Bear’.

All the Hillsong young people, children and congregation should welcome a big hairy confident Australian gay man when he enters Hillsong Church and  say, “Hello Mr Gay Koala Bear”.

These little polite details and gay cultural sensitivities are important to gay men.

Successful evangelist for decades. Died last year in his new home, America.

Pastor of Hillsong City, Glebe Outreach Church, Sydney for decades.

Laurie is a great guy and a personal friend of mine.

He keeps trying to kill himself on motorbikes.

We worked closely together at CLC Darlinghurst in the 1980s among the down and outs of Inner City Sydney plus Uni students etc.

ACC (Australian Christian Churches pastor and teacher. Now in Queensland.

Got quite a bit of air-time in the pulpit at CLC Darlinghurst.

One of Frank’s golden boys (spiritual again). Now prominent in Auckland as a pastor.

There seems to be a trend with hair-loss.

Extremely talented muso. Last sighted by me in Auckland, NZ.

Some years ago, I attended my parent’s church, Howick Presbyterian Church, one of New Zealand’s more successful Presbyterian Churches.

Its quite a big church by Presbyterian standards. I couldn’t see who was playing amazing piano. I thought it sounded like Trevor; and it was him. Still cheeky, perky and talented.

Pastor Terry Appel

Northern Beaches, Sydney. Pastor of Christian Life Centre, Mona Vale.  Good hearted and successful.

Brickie turned the Lord’s soldier.

It’s good to see a CLC church that hasn’t had a name change, or multiple name changes.

What’s wrong with Christian Life Centre and what’s wrong with the Assemblies of God, which is one of the oldest and most successful Pentecostal Churches on the planet.

Why call it Australian Christian Churches?

I liked it when T.L. Osbourne said at Darlinghurst in about 1984, we should call CLC “Christian Love Centre”.

Pastor Gary Canham

Pastor of Northside Church, Bundoora, Victoria.

Gary was Frank’s business manager at CLC Darlinghurst. He was then an AOG missionary in Eastern Europe sent out by Frank.

Gary returned to Australia to pastor.

Always enthusiastic, very polite and kind-hearted. One of nature’s gentlemen. Like the hair-style Gary.

The jury’s out on Brian, or may be out one day trying to decide if he’s guilty of hiding and failing to report his old pedo dad.

Guilty or not, it’s not very Christian to turn your back on the victims of the AOG/ ACC/ CLC/ Hillsong victims of abuse. Poor form Brian. Not Christian.

Receding hair-line. Hair transplants? No evidence of botox. Was Brian’s nose always that thin?

Nice work Jonathan. Santa Monica is where I like to stay in my infrequent visits to LA. Love the Pier and watching the sights at Venice Beach nearby. Mailbu Beach up the coast. All good Jonathan.

Jonathan Wilson’s first marriage fell over spectacularly in front of everyone in the 1990s. They married young and there were the usual problems.

Quite quickly soon after, Jonathan got entangled in a complex love quadrangle (new term) involving Jonathon, his daughter Besse and Dianne and Geoff, who were married.

I can’t recall the chronology, but the outcome was that Geoff and Besse got together, as did Jonathan and Dianne. All good. Life’s a beach.

David Johnson

 

David Johnson was a pastor and very talented classical violinist and orchestra conductor, Frank brought out from California.

Here was a talent if honoured and used properly could do great things.

I think Frank was threatened by David and when David tried to question things to improve them, Frank cast him off.

After being dismissed by Frank, Rev Gordon Moyes of the mega Wesley Methodist Church snapped him up. Wesley Methodist has the biggest welfare system in the Southern Hemisphere and a Bible College.

This is one of the main reasons I left CLC. I didn’t like Frank’s hatchet job on Ian Carlisle, who was struggling and his own son in law. When the old pedo did a severe hatchet job on David Johnson, an innocent lamb, that was it for me.

One of the early CLC (Hillsong) musos.

Liked singing Jackson Brown’s song, “I’ll be your handyman”.

Steve Coleman was convicted for pedophile acts against young girls.

 

Michael Driscoll

Michael Driscoll went back on heroin and died in Ireland a long time back. Suicide.

Michael was in Ireland trying to reconnect with his Irish, poetic and musical roots.

Michael and Brett Whiteley were artistic soul-mates, and along with Wendy Whiteley, Brett’s wife, were heroin buddies.

Brett Whiteley was one of Australia’s greatest modern painters in the 1969s to 1980s. He died from a heroin overdose, alone in a motel in a Southern part of Sydney.

Michael became a Christian in 1981 through the influence of Jonathan Page and others.

Michael tried to convert Brett Whiteley but was unsuccessful.

Michael wrote a poetry book “Desert Rose”, with poems on the Australian Outback themes and Brett illustrated it.

 

Bob Harris

Bob Harris was another talented artist who became a Christian in the early 1980s. In this case, a published poet who won awards. He died in the late 1980s. Heart issues.

I can’t find a photo of Bob.

Michael and Bob were both home fellowship leaders under my leadership in the early 1980s.

 

More on Michael Driscoll

Managing Michael Driscoll, when he was a home fellowship leader under my leadership, required the patience of Job and the love of Almighty God in big doses.

It wasn’t Michael’s fault. He came from a privileged background, was very complex, had a sense of entitlement, was extremely talented musically, in poetry and to a lesser degree in painting, and was in recovery from heroin abuse.

Michael was very zealous for God and led a lot of people, who others couldn’t reach, to Christ.

Michael was a bit of a Christian pied piper and had an eclectic following.

He was big on casting out of demons for a time. A lot of people coming off heavy stuff needed it.

Michael and his band, including Rick Jelliffe and Peter Fitz, put out a Christian Album in 1981. I can’t remember the name of the album but I think it had a sketch by Brett Whitely? on the front cover. Was it “Reel to Real”?

I could write a whole article on Michael and maybe I should. I’d probably need Rick Jelliffe’s help.

Michael had a good heart despite his complexities, which is normal for an artist of his talent. I handled Michael patiently and we had some great times in the home fellowships etc.

Michael found it hard to relate to Frank and his ways. Maybe he sensed something wasn’t right.

Terry and his wife, Deidre, attend Hillsong Glebe Outreach Church. Laurie and Heather Murphy are the pastors.

Terry is still doing a gospel slot on Radio Skid row. He’s been doing it for over 30 years. A faithful servant of the Lord.

A very talented gospel muso. Go Terry.

Terry’s knowledge of old gospel music is encyclopaedic.

Also a home group leader under me in the 1980s.

Terry used to fall asleep when I was leading the bible study so I figured the only way to keep him awake was to make him a leader.

 

Tony Venn-Brown

Tony Venn-Brown was a successful AOG evangelist who went out from CLC Darlinghurst to do great things.

Tony left his wife and children and went gay.

 

Fruity. “Hi there. I’m Tony and I’m gay”.

 

Gay rights bros

 

Tony has some kind of Christian gay rights thing going.

I read somewhere he believes the Church will eventually accept gay marriage and the right to be gay at some time in the future.

Tony thinks it will happen maybe in 30 years, after his life-time. Come on Tony, you can live to 90. (P.S. watch the HIV though)

 

Sorry if I missed you

I can’t think of anyone else from the CLC Darlinghurst days who is a pastor, successful muso, poet or famous or infamous.

If you think you’re amazing or important and I missed you out, don’t worry. I didn’t make it on to the list. Missed the pastor gig, only got to grade 3 piano and my poetry is for readings at the Bellingen Poetry club.
